What am I doing that Seattle loves so much?

It is wet and dreary up there. You make killer bops that help deal with the terrible weather and lack of sun.

When I was stationed there I worked 3rd shift, 9pm to 7am, and didn't see the sun for about 2 years. So I may be a little biased against the PNW

Love me a good relaxing rain fall. Taking my pets to the porch on a warm rainy evening, tossing on some tunes or cracking a book, petting the fuzzy babies and just vibing with the weather.

So, uh, the sun makes me itch. Idk if it's a sensory thing or what, but I HATE when the sun touches my skin. Like I cannot stand it. But I can see why you would not love a place if you worked night shift there for that long.

Doing my part, got enough for the whole damn region, but come on, a few more bodies peeps

Maybe because seattle also appreciated 1 lip gloss 2 lasers 3 sparkly pink armor probably high heels and gun blades too 🤔 though that's just my theory

Shrooom

Damn, I gotta get my city up more smh

Charli Morgan

I think you're right, but I don't know anything about Seattle so I couldn't say why. If I ever do a Hatsune Miku style show, it'll be in Seattle.

Sun itches? Could be a type of sun allergy. Especially if there are rashes, hives and things that are typical for allergies in general. You probably have looked into that, but I have no idea how common the knowledge about that type of allergy is, so bring that up, even if it’s like nothing new

Charli Morgan

It's not a rash, just a...enescapable desire to not let the sun touch me.

Uhhhh, have you seen Seattle? We've all just needed some good music to keep the gray sky blues at bay.

apmoore94

No, im from the part of the Southwest everyone forgets exists. I iust live in the Seattle-Tacoma area now.

Does it only show USA city stats? 🤔 I live in Canada, a bit north of Seattle, so I wonder if it's counting British Columbia as part of it?

Charli Morgan

It shows the biggest cities, regardless of country. Most of my viewers are American, followed by Canada, AUS, and the UK, which are tied, more or less. I don't know if it counts Bc as part of Seattle or not. It might go off IP, it might go off self-reporting, idk.

ZaChan

Thank you for satisfying my curiosity :)

I live like 2 hours from Seattle, and that is quite accurate

Um, not to be snide, but we're Boeing's home town. Getting bullied by military aircraft is kinda a tradition here.

Ashley Dienst Philipson

Most of their fighter and actual bomber production is in Virginia, but all the milspec variants of the 700 series are built up here, and Boeing routinely bullies the city government about taxes and permits (not to mention their local workforce, hence the current union strikes. It also means downtown periodically gets slapped with supersonic incoming/outgoing when Boeing brings more aggressive product in and out of their Renton R&D facility.

Ashley Dienst Philipson

They used to call Henry Jackson, one of our two senators from '53 until '83, "the Senator from Boeing" as a nickname instead of the Senator from Washington.
