She's a Nasty Beast ...She's a Monster... Liquid Death Runs Through Her Veins (Patreon)

I literally saw some billboard for Nasty Beast energy drink, then my brain decided to string along the names of a couple other energy drinks, and when you put Nasty Beast, Monster, and Liquid Death together ... you realize it sounds kinda raw

and then my brain ALSO decided to whip up something cool as fuck with my favorite monster girl, only to set up the phrase and the reveal that it's just a bunch of silly energy drinks lol

this is one of the few times in which committing to a bit has led to one of my favorite pieces of art I've ever done lol

Anyway, this also feeds into character stuff for Bolero. She may not be a fighter, but she can get fiercely protective of a fresh kill, or any food in general. I often picture her hunting llamas or other mid-sized mammals and I never really get to play with that so I thought this might be a good time. I really wanted to play with blood so I got REAL artsy with it, giving the background more grayed out tones and letting the red blood be the most vibrant thing... ended up becoming a really good combo here.

Getting to play with colors on a relatively simple drawing, and saving time by googling/photoshopping background elements... really makes me wanna try this again
