Anita Redesign 2021 (Patreon)

I KNOW I HAVE THINGS TO DO, BUT THIS ONE WAS NAGGING AT ME 

So its been enough time that I could do a redesign of a classic character; honestly Anita has been around almost as long as Apatite herself, but a lot of the attention was given to Apatite so Anita didn't get to evolve very much. I don't have plans for Anita as a story or a character with development or anything like that, but there were certain things about her design that I felt like could benefit from a bit of tweaking.

For one, her skin tone is a bit more in line with the blue tones in her hair. Even though I wanted her to have darker skin, something always felt kinda off about the color she originally had, and after playing with it tonight I finally found something that worked a little better.

It's such a weird subtle little difference but it makes a whole world of changes tbh 

Also I'm gonna try to emphasize more of the traits I had for her initially, such as her love of neon blue tones, a semi goth/punk aesthetic, and generally just being a very chill lesbian who sits on a motorcycle and gives you 'do me' eyes from across the parking lot .. even though she's not really a good mechanic or anything (that's just a reference to Apatite sucking at her job, and I couldn't decide on a good alternate major for her lmao)

but yeah anyway it was just fun to try something out with her, and tbh I'll probably keep this for a long time too.

The whole neon colors and whatnot are a bit of a practice run for how I wanna handle the whole Sushiki aesthetic moving forward. I might also make her the new official mascot for Patreon and all the other socials, just to make her more of her own thing and stand further from the whole SU thing, so people don't assume i'm riding on the success of the show.
