Maybe Popo just increases his power over time or something, because if he was able to hold off Trunks and Goten as Super Saiyans and he had that power now, he would be literally killing Goku right now. Or maybe his power since he works with the guardian is to have the power of the strong warriors on Earth? Would explain him being at Goku's level now and the Super Saiyan kids power later.

You'll find yourself quoting DBZA more an more as you progress further along. There's so many great one liners in the Android/Cell Saga.

That fight Mr. Popo had with Goten and Trunks never happened in the manga. They made it up for the anime even though the power levels didn't make sense. They really should make a remake of DB and DBZ with new animation, no filler, the classic soundtrack and adding new scenes that really tie loose ends and don't contradict the manga. That would be awesome. It's working wonderfully for Bleach.

The Hype

Surprise surprise. Goku thought that he was the strongest person in the world, but not even close. Piccolo Daimao is stronger than anybody in the world by far. Not including for Mr. Popo and God who are actually many times stronger than Piccolo at this point. Piccolo Daimao is the devil while God and Mr. Popo are literal deities, so it makes sense that Piccolo and Goku are nothing in comparison to actual deities.

Mr. Popo >frieza and cell if we go by the anime scenes. Mr. Popo is at the top of the pecking order, he’s basically unbeatable. 😂 Which is why DBZA runs with this joke and even has the confidence to lightly threaten Vegeta in Super after he destroys the hyperbolic time chamber and tries to come back to train again.

Mr. Popo is based on ancient Indian genies. That's why his skin is dark, and has a really basic, uneducated, and old way of speaking in the Japanese dub. The English version has Mr. Popo talking in an eloquent and well spoken vocabulary, but that's not how Mr. Popo is supposed to sound like. I know people think Mr. Popo is a racist character, but he's not mocking Indian people. He's a well likable character, who is respectful, and does good for God. The reason why he speaks the way he does is that he's thousands of years old, and that is actually pretty accurate to how people used to talk like back then, since education was very limited back then, and there was no such thing as reading and writing. It has nothing to do with racism.

a this point Popo is propably strongest character in the world even stronger then Goku King Piccolo and Kami he is propably stronger then Goku King Piccolo and Kami put together as you watched DBZ you need to remember he was strong enough to handle super saiyan Goten and Trunks so right in this moment he propably could destroy earth and nobody could stop him bah he could kill Nappa and Vegeta when they showed up

I agree with Madison tbh Mr. Popo would terrify me during a first introduction lol. But after talking to him I would realize I was just judging a book by its cover and there's nothing to be afraid of. But at first sight... Creepy af imo lol
