THIS IS PEAK DRAGON BALL!!

Comments

Zakery Reimer

Gets so good in the next few episodes

Caspar

Day time upload, let's go!

Buff

The student must surpass the master. Wise words spoken by Jakie chan. Databayo.

Jayson Dominique Rainey

The king piccolo arc and the 23rd world martial arts tournament are the best arcs in OG dragon ball.

Joshua Fletcher

This isn’t a spoiler, but all you had to do is just look at the tournament bracket you would’ve seen Who tien is lined up to fight next.

The Only MVF

In my opinion, from the King Piccolo Arc in DB to the Cell Arc in DBZ, is the greatest stretch of storytelling in all of anime 👏👏👏

Kenny Lam

Seems you still don’t understand how the tournament bracket works. If Tien fights Yamcha or Tao fights Piccolo, both scenario would mean it’s the final match, and both mean Goku loses. So if that’s really how you think the finals plays out

Andrés Proal

That dude with the white shirt.... he is.... someone's father

scott osborne

dragonball could of gone on another 15-20 episodes if they did the training with yamcha krillin tien and little prince of one hair but then the mystery wouldn't be a suprise when they got to the tournament

Littlepip

I love you guys' predictions! It demonstrates both a good understanding of the characters but also Toriyama himself! We'll just have to see what happens! No matter what happens, I forsee Baris liking Tien even more after this match!

Colton Chandler

In the sub Hero is called Shen. I assume the dub didn’t want to confuse him with Master Shen, Mercenary Tao’s brother.

Joito

The old guy I think he's kami

Geri91

I don't understand. It's the 3rd tournament now, why are you still wondering about who is fighting next and who is fighting who. It's like in every other tournament so far. Winner of fight 1 (mercenery Tao vs. Tienshinhan) vs. Winner of fight 2 (Goku vs. Chichi) is the first semifinal. Winner of fight 3 (Piccolo vs. Krilin) vs. Winner of fight 4 (yamcha vs. Hero) is the second semifinal. And the final match is Winner of semifinal 1 vs. Winner of semifinal 2.

The Hype

Just to clear something up. The English dub messed up the translation of some of the names. Shen is the name of the Old Guy with the glasses who accidentally knocked out Yajirobe. The Crane Hermit doesn't have a name, and is only addressed as such. Keep that in mind.

The Hype

How is it that everybody who watches this for the first time knows immediately that the masked fighter is Yajirobe? I didn't know that until he actually took off his mask. Speaking of him, Yajirobe bites the wrestler guy in the butt, which isn't funny... Later in the Saiyan arc (about 25 episodes from now) when he's training in the lookout for the arrival of Nappa and Vegeta. Yajirobe bites Kuririn's butt the same way. Seriously it's not funny why did the anime team put that in twice?

MrDragonflair

I love waking up to a new episode, something to watch as i wake up fully. Time to get to the best fights in DB imo

SSG2PRO

I think it's roughly touched upon in Dragon Ball Z Attack of the Saiyans (Krillin, Yamaha, Tien and Chiaotzu training with Korin). It's a fun Dragon Ball RPG for the DS. Haven't played it myself, but it seems fun.

Madison said she wishes she could read Japanese in the reaction. She should give it a try if she really would like to. I’ve been learning Japanese on my own for the past few months just for about 15 mins a day. It’s actually been pretty fun so far. I can read the names on fights #3 and #4 pretty easily now. Now when it comes to Kanji it’s much more difficult. I know #2 is Goku vs ChiChi because I recognize Goku’s Kanji but I don’t yet know any Kanji’s in ChiChi, Tien’s or Mercenary Tao’s names. But I know if I keep going I’ll be able to read it eventually. It’s very rewarding reading/recognizing just a bit more of the Kanji that I’ve seen all throughout Dragon Ball though.

Jaehwa Jeong

It's very rare when Baris and Madison disagree on a prediction.

SamWD

piccolo can't fight tao cause piccolo is in match 3 so there is no way that fight could happen unless they changed the order

It’s really good, especially if you like turn based rpgs

Douglas Murray

Love Baris so much for saying Sensei Toriyama, and not just his first name Akira. In that panel right after Launch pop these capsules, she looks cool as hell, but there's something that makes me sad about it—the way they drew her to look that cool. It's like one of her final great moments in Dragon Ball. She looks great in that red dress too. This tournament is going to be even greater than anything we have seen so far.

Gabo

I think this is why the announcer wasnt suprised when he saw Goku with the halo at the tournament in buu saga

Morokei

Shouldve kept that orange/black color scheme for goku. It looks sick as hell. Even in db heroes

jedan anagram

Sadly, I think this episode is a proof that Baris and Madison have stopped reading these comments a long time ago. Different people have pointed out dozens of time by now how tournament bracket works, and yet Baris is stil predicting semi-finals which are mathematically impossible..

Ogre328

The tournament announcer is such a legend.

Kenny Lam

Yeah true. But there's also the fact that this is the 3rd tournament in the series, as well as that's just how tournament brackets work in real life too, and I'm astounded how he still doesn't understand how it works.

Not good. Big appeal of this reactions format is the ability of viewers to interact with creators. The way you deal with spoilers is by simply assigning mods and let them police the chat...

Ryan Bayley

Baris's impressions of the characters are absolutely hilarious!
