Some quick study sketches/drawings I did today for some critters that will be making appearances in future dreamscape postings. I wanted to get their basic designs down on paper before it came time to do those actual postings.

What kind of eldritch nightmarescape does Equestria's dreamlands border upon?!

Okay lets see if Patreon will take the post this time. To answer your question the dream shard that all pony's dream fabrics reside in has been protected by the wards and reputation of Princess Luna. Known to many who reside in the Lower Dark Realm as the Dream Witch. These wards were strong enough that held up more or less even during her thousand year absence. Since her return she's renewed and strengthened many of them. Also she now has Applebloom helping her. Thus the reason for the filly getting the titles of Red Bow and The Attack Beast of the Dream Witch.

Yikes.... so Equestria is basically in a sea of nightmarish horrors. Definitely all praise to Princess Luna! Does Celestia have any similar things to worry about?

Well there's dream shards outside of the ponies that quite pleasant. That's where AJ and King Trafalgar have been going to on their dates. But below the ponies and these other shards was a dark, unknown, terrifying Lower Dark Realms.

Celestia's main concern is keeping an eye on Tartarus. Along with other more mundane things like the dragons and rogue griffin nations.
