Another drawing started during my most recent Picarto stream.  The theme of the stream was Magicians, Maids, and Mermaids since it was the 3rd stream in the month of May. Which of course is also MerMay.

During the stream there was a request for Petina as a mermaid. Now I've drawn in her several times in mermaid suits. Tank in the tank But I believe this is the first time I've drawn her as an actual mermaid. Now I just need to draw Carousel as one.

I thought Petina preferred various forms of large-crystal "rocks" (aka gemstones)?

Petina looks down at the partially submerged rock then at you. "Oh McClaw! If you can find a gemstone this big for me to lie on trust me I will. Although I might have to fight Rarity to do it.

Oooh, yes! I feel like we haven’t seen Carousel in a while. She needs a chance to shine in the spotlight. :-)

A reference to "Tom"? Better known as "rock who is not to be mentioned"? But if Petina is willing to settle for something semi-precious, I'm sure a gem-couch could be arranged.
