At sea level, the air we breathe is about 21% oxygen at 14.7 pounds per square inch (psi). In an HBOT chamber, the pressure is typically increased to 2-3 times normal (around 30-45 psi). Under this increased pressure, a remarkable thing happens: oxygen dissolves directly into your blood plasma.
Normally, your red blood cells are like delivery trucks carrying oxygen, and they get full quickly. Under pressure, your blood plasma acts like a fleet of tiny scooters, carrying a massive additional load of oxygen to every cell in your body. This hyper-oxygenated blood can reach areas that are swollen, injured, or have poor blood flow and help with healing and many other things.
3 times per session is my suggestion.
