SubZero Holiday "Break" Notice (Patreon)

Hello Dragons,

Last week WT informed me that my statement of work (this is the contract that determines how many episodes Webtoon will pay you for) ended. Most creators I know will take a break during this time while they wait for legal to whip out a new SOW so I thought... what better time to take a Holiday break?

In all honesty, the deadline stress actually hit an all time high during Thanksgiving week when one of my assistants informed me ahead of time they would not be able to take on any panels that week and everyone was asking If I'd be able to make their Thanksgiving celebration. I am absolutely not placing any blame on these people, but it goes to show how any minor inconvenience that interrupts the deadline cycle will cause me to spiral really REALLY badly. For the first time in my life I actually experienced chest pains just THINKING about episodes and it scared me quite badly.

I made a little mini-comic about my struggles this year and how thankful I am knowing I have THE BEST readers in the world! Thank you for being by my side while we climb this mountain together. I have a lot of extra behind-the-scenes work to do, but my plan is for SZ to return early-mid March 2025 (I promise it's not as far away as you think).

Now that December is here, I'm going to take some time to breathe and work on some personal art/projects that I've been putting off (and also work out, sleep better, visit my sister/family whom I've hardly spoken to this year).
