Oh boy, look at the difference! Here is a quick process image for 3 panels in ep 70. Personally there are times where the sketches tend to look a lot more lively than the finished panels but at the same time, finished panels can look really nice and refined as well! Have any of you guys encountered issues where the sketch is more flashy than the lineart???

My sketches are always better than my line art. They are so much more dynamic for some reason. So I just don’t line art 😂 You line art is gorgeous tho 😍❤️

My sketches are always a lot nicer to look at than my lineart (though I don't often do lineart I just paint right over the sketch 🤣) I think the eye assumes and fills in a lot more when looking at a sketch vs something more defined, plus the many/more vague lines sort of inherently convey movement, where lineart has less lines to work with to get across the same point. Hard to make a single line NOT look static without color and lighting to add the movement back in for the final product.

Yeah often the essence of an expression or a scene can evoke the feelings easier than clean line art because the scribbles are loose and expressive
