For those of you who are currently pledged on here, I just wanted to know how many of you have your patreon accounts connected to our discord, and if so do you enjoy it? -> https://discord.gg/hvqDHUDr2b

I am considering adding more channels for patrons in specific tiers so I would like some input on this! :D

I'm intrigued to see where you want to go with this June.

Dareece Shaw

I selected the last option because I'm aware of discord and my real answer is 'no', but that wasn't an option. I know I skew much older than the average age of most webtoon readers and I think that age gap & life stage differences have made it hard for me to connect on chat platforms like that. The SZ discord was one I really wish I could connect on, but so far no discord servers have worked out 😔 There's probably nothing to be done about this and it's no one's fault, but just thought I'd provide feedback by sharing my personal experiences.

I have a discord and use it to connect with several creators but I mainly use it to chat with friends to avoid the vacuum tube that the Facebook newsfeed has become 🤷‍♀️

I have a discord but I rarely use it. I haven't really had the time to figure out how it works because I'm REALLY new to the system and I'm not used to it. I just prefer to get updates on here. For me, Patreon is easier to use. Call me old. Lol

@Dareece yeah I'm in the same boat. For me, the last "chat group" I ever used was AOL before Myspace, and then eventually Facebook. So I'm really removed from this generation that has discovered discord lol

C Cruz

I don't use it, it's too crazy on the forum to follow much of anything. Everytime I'm added in automatically I leave the server.

Fast pass countdown party was awesome in discord! 💕💕 and also reactions right after reading the fp episodes! That’s where I spent my time in SZ discord and then I got familiar with a lot of the ppl and then branched out. But I’ve used discord in the past for games as well.

I actively avoided discord until I saw June had one. So I joined and started in just the sz chats and slowly explored more! It's pretty easy to use and I LOVED the live streams June did a few weeks ago on there. There's lots of support on there for new comers if you'd like to come join!

Also hey Ksmur...”word homie” 😉😂

I don't like discord. Too much chatter and not enough discusstions. Trying to find anything on there is impossible. I scrolled for about 10 mins on the theory page and maybe came across two theories. No thank you. Discord is too busy. And most chat has nothing to do with the comics. :/

Speaking as somebody who has left the Discord server recently. I really enjoyed watching your art streams June. Time zones meant I didn't get to see many of them, which was a shame. I realise there is no way you can do them any other way, so I'll just stick to the excellent content you give us on here. Because of the ,rightful, popularity of SubZero, the nature and overall age of the Discord has changed from what it was when the server first started, I am not going to moan about that, because things are supposed to evolve and not stand still. The server has nurtured a lot of young talent in writing, art and music. It has, to the greater extent, been a place where people who are battling demons of all kinds have found support. Yes, I walked away from it, having been there from the start. My reasons are my own and are no fault of the server itself. When I have my head sorted out, I may well go back there. So, give the SubZero Discord a proper try, you can always come out of it.
