Random Arma Bullshittery - Update #3 (Patreon)

Thanks very much for your input regarding the poll. Antistasi Arma it is then. 

I've certainly got all the other Arma clips saved up (and well nested) for the next batch of editing. So for the future please know that there's plenty of footage for Arma bullshittery part 10. And I've even got a rough outline for it and some fun ideas insofar as the editing is concerned. I'm looking forward to doing it.

So for the last five days I've been continuing the work on the Arma bullshittery, primarily using the clips from the antistasi (resistance game mode). And on Monday through Wednesday I was also able to collect some fresh moments in some of the live-streams with the ZF guys.

Alas, I'm afraid this is one of those updates where there's not really much to report. The editing continues as planned. I should be about 5 minutes into the text and the animations, though unfortunately I'm about 4 minutes in. This is because I've added a few complex animations with lots of "pews" moving behind objects (masking) with three dimensional key framing. And in order to play up the gag where I get the resistance base discovered I've gone into Arma and machinima'ed some of the Russian AI to behave as though they've detected a mortar shell on radar at a listening station, etc (the live-stream scene in question for those who want to see my cock-up). And these things just take longer than other scenes.

But it's going well. I've been having fun with the pews this week! As you can see here. Also some of the debris effects in After Effects, like glass shattering. Really adds an extra dimension to each scene in my opinion.

Additionally, I'm considering taking a short break on the completion of this video. Just to remind everyone. Probably a short holiday somewhere to recharge. Maybe take Lulu on a trip. It's her 2nd birthday in June. Hmmmm.
