So it's been roughly a week since the last update, during which I've been scrubbing through the available Arma 3 Antistasi streams (that started April 30th) to try and determine if there's enough clips to make a bullshittery compilation along with a somewhat coherent structure, showing a resistance group.

I can report that the answer is a resounding yes. There's more than enough here to make a full antistasi bullshittery and I can begin immediately.

So the process over the last 5 work days has been to transform 26 Antistasi Streams (roughly 60 hours of gameplay) into the following - properly sorted and stored folders, alongside their relevant notes:

(also Patreon has made that in-line image gigantic and I'm not sure why, sorry. I shrank it, but they just blew it up in a low resolution. Awkward)

Once done, I was then able to pour through these notes to start nesting the clips. Creating 150 gags, callbacks, interesting moments or funny extended action sequences. All stored in their own independent timelines for easy retrieval.

If anything, I need to be careful I don't go too far.

The previous Antistasi Bullshittery was about 26 minutes long and had 40+ nested sequences. I now have 150 to play with for Antistasi alone. A testament to how much stuff we got up to this time round in about 3 weeks of gameplay. But if I try to include them all then it's going to be an hour long and 10+ weeks of editing.

What I need to do now is start assembling a coherent bullshittery video from start to finish, whilst being mindful of what I include:

I may try to see if  jokes that are independent of what's going on in game can be disguised as regular Arma gameplay (two people bantering in the back of a truck could be Antistasi or Arma 3). And simply save them for Arma Bullshittery part 11 if/when you eventually request it.

Or I may find I'm not able to do that. And try to make Antistasi a two parter with a cliffhanger.

Or heck, you may even tell me that you're completely okay with a gigantic episode, so long as I can pledge to a certain level of quality.

With your blessing I'll begin the assembling and then tell you how it's looking by the end of the week. I'll make some rough drafts and report back.

Week 2 has started and the work continues! All the best folks.

Definitely wouldn't mind some enormous episode of bulshitery. But will gladly take anything.

Jeff Davis

I just noticed you have things named with the names of various metals, is that just so you can keep track of them a little easier?

I think it would be best to make it a two-parter with a cliffhanger, would be pretty interesting to see how creative you can get with something like that, cheers from Bosnia!

PizzaDiPasta123

I don't think we had a cliffhanger before. That would certainly be very interesting to see! But I'd also be fine with a mega-episode. Would love to hear you come up with more ridiculous jobs when people ask why you stopped doing Youtube :D

Anton Fogelberg

Absolutely OK with a huge episode, go for it.

markoatonc

I am completly fine with long episode (even if it means longer wait) or a two-parter. Hell doing it in parts might calm down the loud people complaining for more, while keeping the total lenght the same. I STILL re-watch your older episodes when I need to cheer up after hard day! So I am ok with any waits.

Max

I'm happy with what ever you decide to do. If you want to make a massive episode then go for it :D

Also, unrelated. This Patreon update format. Is this working for you lot, or would you prefer I change it. As in, weekly updates with the inclusion of inline gifs. Do you approve or find it annoying? I saw Captain Disillusion doing it and I thought it looked fairly good.

1. Love the idea of a cliff hanger. This would mean more videos to watch over and over, and as PizzaDiPasta123 said we've never had a cliff hanger before. 2. This type of update is great. We get all the info we could ever dream of and gif to give us an inside to how it's looking. 3. (and I don't know of this matters a lot to you) but big fan 😎

Gumbojones

Look forward to the hard ward as always bud, no issues with the update format, is nice to see the thought process and what goes on behind the scenes to make the vids

I'll be honest, I'm all for Womble-stasi: The Movie. You do whatever works best for you though.

The Ferret

I'm down for a long episode, but do you think that would be too tiring/boring for you? Half the fun is knowing you enjoy making these, if that stops then a lot of the enjoyment goes too. Also means you have to listen to even more whining from the impatient twits, and I'm not sure how tedious that might get.

Andrew Worthen

A two parter or a long episode would be fine by me, but I know that no matter what, it'll be worth the wait.

MuddyRaccoon

The hiss of the Badgers 2 - The last stand. Roughly when will be the cinematic release?

NonLittleFat

Two parter and long episode are both ok to me :D

You've mentioned before, that the Bullshittery episode are very very joke heavy, with few seconds of breathing room in between. Trying to take the "nay sayer" role for a sec. Would a long episode loose the charm in any way? Is there a break point, where the viewer is "stimulated" and begins to loose interest? Personally I would enjoy a cliff hanger.

As much as I love it when your videos are long, But I'm afraid the humor in it would wear off midway through an hour of a video. I think your content is working so good because the videos are rather short-ish. After all it doesn't matter if there are two videos with 20 minutes or one with 40. But in terms of watchtime it's better to go with two videos. I mean, why the work for one hour if most of the people won't ever see the last 30 minutes?
