Random Space Engineers Bullshittery - Update #1 (Patreon)

Good evening folks. Hope you've all had a nice smooth weekend.

On this end, I managed to take quite a satisfying week off after the last project. Doing only some light work in the second half. But I'm otherwise feeling well-rested and ready to tackle the next project.

Based on the opinions and the prior poll, it seems like a good idea to work on Random Space Engineers bullshittery (part 4) - a continuation of the various highlights from that moon base. The one with Cyanide's giant face.

During those live-streams I got up to a bunch of other shenanigans with the guys, including a couple of fighter battles, large-scale drilling operations, and lots of ships randomly exploding.

So with much of the nesting complete in part 3 the master project file is looking pretty good actually:

With the previous bullshittery requiring about 42 sequences, and there being about 61 remaining, I'll need to decide if it's funnier to have two smaller parts, one big part, or one regular sized part and leave a number of clips unused. Or even identify some good jokes that are able to move added to the more recent Earth-based Space Engineers games (not yet nested).

I find that last one is generally harder in an edit. Not impossible. But it can confuse the viewer if an established setting suddenly gets creeped on by clips from another. Which is why I'm generally reluctant to do medleys of clips from different games.

So right now the plan is to keep trimming away these clips, figuring out a basic structure and seeing how it flows. Once the shape of a bullshittery starts forming (likely by Wednesday or Thursday) I'll begin the text and animations.

I've jumped straight into it and things are well underway.
