Video-essay fiddling - Update #02 (Patreon)

Good evening everybody. I hope you've all had a smooth week.

I said previously that I was squirreled away working on some audio for a potential video-essay segment - on something related to survival games at the moment. 

Specifically looking at a dinosaur game called The Isle and how it's innovating with the formula, in a way other games on the market haven't done yet. And how some customers are reacting very positively to that innovation in a pretty interesting way.

By Wednesday I was able to complete a very rough 38 minute audio-only cut. And had 10 volunteers listen to it and provide feedback. With their feedback digested and changes in progress, I've decided to go for it and try and complete the visuals if that's alright?

Now I need to be fairly cautious and not commit a crazy amount of time to this one. I need to be aware that this is pretty niche. But I'm pretty confident I can make it entertaining.

I should make a note to focus on game-footage as much as possible here. As it's both readily available and quite illustrative.

So what I'd like to do now is focus on filling in the visuals/tightening certain areas of the audio. Going linearly I may be able to release it in segments for those inclined. But if you're all okay with it, I'd like to crack on and try and make a video-essay with the approximate title "Survival sandbox games and The Isle"
