Thank you very much for taking part in that poll everybody. With the final votes from both Patreon and Twitch subscribers the results are:

Arma 3 - 708

Half Life Alyx - 646

Human Fall Flat - 637

Halo Master Chief - 490

Holdfast - 425

DayZ-  415

Blade and Sorcery - 294

Rec Room - 168

A fairly close call. Good info for the future too. I hadn't expected Human Fall Flat to be so high. Something I need to keep in mind.

For the moment though - Random Arma 3 Bullshittery (Part 10).

Thank you as always for your support everyone :) I've moved the footage to the high-speed hard drives in order to make a start.

Keeping it simple, my first task is cleaning up the Adobe Premiere master file. It's a bit of a mess I'm afraid. My process of clip categorization and storage became a lot more standardized after 2016 (when I went full time).

The problem is the Arma bullshitteries pre-date that. And even predate the use of Adobe Premiere (Feb 2017), with episodes 1 to 6 being edited in Sony Vegas.

With Premiere though, episodes 7, 8 and 9 all had individual project files, just as I was doing in Sony Vegas. It's only by Arma 3 Antistasi (part 1 to 5) that I'd started doing the master project file thing. And purely for Antistasi.

What I need to do now is go from inconsistent naming conventions. With things like "arma stream sunday afternoon", or "Chernarus stream 2" for some of them. To something like this:

Then I'll have a stronger idea of what I have available.

Structural questions will follow from there. Questions like:

The clips that remain unused from older Arma 3 sessions. Are they still useful?

Do I intermingle those with the more recent big operations that Digby has been running?

Do I instead skip over those to focus on "Prairie Fire" (the Vietnam expansion)?

And if so, which one? The campaign or the "Mike Force" mod we ran?

Or do I intentionally make no distinction whatsoever and just consider it all Arma 3?

I'll know much more after a deep dive into the available footage. Give me a few days to get back to you. For the moment I'm going to ensure I have well organised project file. Hope you're having a lovely week everybody.

Go through your footage first, I’d say. Get a better idea of what you have. You may be able to get a second bullshittery or even a series (Vietnam / prairie fire) out of it too.

Very surprising results indeed. Looking forward to what you decide on, regardless of what you choose to do with the footage. :)

I have really enjoyed the Arma bullshitteries so I'm quite excited - even though I voted for Half Life 😁

Day-month-year folder names? You're an even bigger monster than I thought! How are you ever going to find order if the years are all mixed up 😭 All jests aside, good luck, sir, looking forward to the results! o7

It's all ARMA imo. Best keep it simple.
