Status: Proposed.

Amendments: None.By the Grace of the Illustrious Majesty, this House declares all Nobility throughout the Realm's 15 Duchies and associated lands be formally permitted to gather, train, arm, and retain an amount of sellswords, wanderers, mercenaries, or other skilled combatants heretofore mentioned as "Adventurers" necessary for the protection of their lands, people, and goods separate from the Realm's own forces.These Adventurers shall be held as a seperate from any Noble Armies or Crown Forces deployed aagainst the Lich King and his armies, with the expressed intent of gathering both forces and supply, and addressing issues of minor beasts, small cults, or monster attacks that may otherwise go unanswered by competent persons conscripted to the soldiery.

This House demands that Non-Ducal lesser nobility be granted the right to gather to their banner the skilled people necessary to not only protect the lands, but also uphold their obligations to Crown, Liege, and Country.

Nay! This is just an excuse for nobles to assemble personal armies to use against the common folk should they reject the throwing of a pig through their window!

Professional Idiot Collective respectfully refers the following advice: As a number of Noble houses have been in allegiance with the Lich King, independent armies operating on effectively a private basis by Noble houses ... well that public support appears to be incredibly soft. Strongly recommend an amendment for the purpose of vetting Noble houses, adventurers attempting to sign on to these independent groups, and system of contingencies to guarantee no section of this addendum, in whole or in part, to be used as a loophole to re-ignite corruption within the Nobility. In addition, all adventurers must sign an oath promising not to act in ill will towards the Realm or any of its protectorates. A Peelian Principle-minded level of enforcement is suggested to prevent adventurers from exploiting this as an easy access to weapons and material for their own twisted goals, or worse reintroduce a larger scale of rebellion and violence.
