THE SPREADSHEET IS REVEALED!!!

Hey troops! I’m gonna be copy-pasting this across Discord and on YouTube.First of all, just wanna say hello to our newest paid Patrons, especially JerichoSpades who had the great timing of joining the Legend tier the day I planned to change the rewards and a week before I rerecord the Patreon shout outs for coming content, and an additional shout out to one of our longest supporting Patrons Sora Mayura for helping us rebalance the Realm Faction combat spreadsheet (which we will be making considerable use off in future videos).

It’s been a long time, there’s been a lot of wild stuff taking place in the personal life good and bad and it’s gotten in the way of me wanting to be on camera, and of course there was the recent health scare which I’ve just gotten my referral for this morning, but its given me a new impetus to get to making things again. So starting after Tuesday of next week, I’m putting on my production hat, and breaking down what we’re going to be doing for future projects so let’s break it down…

PATRON REWARD CHANGES AND CHANNEL CHANGES

Right, so let’s no sugar coat it: the original points system as I envisioned is crunchy, complicated and half baked, and it doesn’t help that I had absolutely zero knowledge of excel or spreadsheets, so I’m making some changes to how the perks work, and the changes will be coming soon. But for now, I've increased the cap on scores to 40 and decided every paid patron gets 80 points to spread across the factions before the next Patron payment day on the 11th of May. Go nuts.Second is that as soon as we’re at the actual play stage I’m going to be changing the socials on YouTube and here on Patreon from just me Big Fat Socialist to Wee Red Shed productions as we start to attract regular guests and contributors. I’m wanting to work on making productions that highlight the local, talented folk in my general vicinity, cannae do that as one Big Fat Socialist.The patron prices are staying the same, but as my intention is to make this an Actual Play channel with multiple games and settings, instead we’re going to make it a much more simple “All X Tier Setting Perks” “Vote on Campaign Polls” “Change the Campaign Spreadsheets X times”, with the future spreadsheets in development for our Hunters Survival Guide to Glasgow and our Mothership project’s Known Galaxy.

IMMERSION BREAKERS

So IB’s been on the ice since I lost my job, I’d been getting artwork commissioned by Friend of the Shed Natasha and organising time to do one on one sessions when everything went offline again and I’m going to be reaching out to see if she’s available to continue bringing IB’s characters to life in advance of our actual play productions.There’s been a serious bottleneck episode in the works that has required a role to be played by someone else, and I think I now have someone to play it so it should unclog the content pipeline to let us get Immersion Breakers finished up as a series to become the base game state for our actual plays when we can get groups of players.In the mean time we’ll be enjoying one on one sessions with coming players as part of a loose series of one shots.

This being said, we’re still missing some essential assets for Immersion Breakers that I’m in the process of hunting some talent to help fill in, namely a political map of the Realm, and background art for some recurring scenes (the Palace, the Fortress of Ultimate Darkness, the Capitol etc).A final thing I’m querying is hosting a pairlaiment via discord call and recording the results for YouTube, to give more flavour to the insanity the Patrons have been cooking up in the server.If that interests you let me know in the comments and I’ll start figuring out a decent timezone and date.

HUNTER’S SURVIVAL GUIDE

I’ve been having so much fun interacting with the wider World of Darkness community, including a collab I cannot reveal as of yet, but being part of an anarch one shot with Huddyvonschland and finishing my first Werewolf campaign with the lovely folks over at the Rolling Nomads (plus one VERY SECRET COLABZ THAT I WILL NOT MENTION DON’T MAKE ME) has re-incentivised me to continue work on the Hunter’s Surival Guide in earnest, but expect some format changes when we finally hit out episodes on the Quarry...

UNNAMED MOTHER SHIP PROJECT

So I’ve been playing a lot of MOTHERSHIP, and I think I’ve got a general conceit for a short series taking place in a home-brewed galaxy to act as an intro for an actual play, with an emphasis on short. In the interest of not biting off more than I can chew, I’m gonna be working on this one in passing as I prepare for finishing Immersion Breakers as the web shorts series.

This will also necessitate me hiring some kind of 3D and Environmental Artist, namely to create some spaceship models and interiors.
