GTA 5 Knight Rider Mod Installation Guide (Patreon)

The Mod is based on the original Knight Rider Mod by 3id: https://de.gta5-mods.com/scripts/knight-rider-k-i-t-t-net
The KITT Models are based on the Knight Rider model by Sersorroza, Knight Racer, & Teoadrianoj (https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/knight-rider-kitt-sersorroza-knight-racer-teoadrianoj) and got completely reworked and animated by S4MuEL.
For the additional gadgets like Oil Slick, grappling hook, Tyre Buster and Smoke Screen, i recommend using the Batman Mod by JulioNIB: https://de.gta5-mods.com/scripts/batman-script-mod-v1-0
After you installed the batman mod, you can use my attached files (Batman Gadgets) to make it work with the Knight Rider Mod.
Installation:
1) Install the original Knight Rider Mod → https://de.gta5-mods.com/scripts/knight-rider-k-i-t-t-net (you don't need to replace the ruiner)
2) place the kitt.dlc file in your dlcpacks folder and add the following line to your dlclist: <Item>dlcpacks:\kitt\</Item>
3) place the karr.dlc file in your dlcpacks folder and add the following line to your dlclist: <Item>dlcpacks:\karr\</Item>
4) copy the files from the scripts folder in your scripts folder and replace the Ksettings file and the KSounds folder if you already got it
5) follow the Installation Instructions for the Season 4 KITT
6) For the T-Top roof, download and install VehFuncs V by RealZolika1351: https://de.gta5-mods.com/scripts/vehfuncs-v
→ Add kitt and voltic (Knight Rider Mod folder\T-Top Roof\VehFuncsV) to the VehFuncsV in your main gta 5 folder
→ Replace VehFuncsV in your main gta 5 folder with the one provided in Knight Rider Mod folder\T-Top Roof
Hotkeys:
open/close left T-Top: Press Control Left + J
open/close right T-Top: Hold Control Left + K
Emergency Braking System: Brake + Handbrake
(the other keybinds can be changed in KITT_Keybinds.ini)
Troubleshooting:
If you are getting errors after installing the dlc packs, make sure, you have a gameconfig.xml file installed, that fits your game version and allows additional dlc packs.
