Knight Rider Mod v5.8.1 for GTA 5 - Download (Patreon)

Installation:

1) copy the vehicle folders, located in vehicles/dlc addons, into your dlcpacks folder

2) add the following lines to your dlclist (located in mods\update\update.rpf\common\data) by using edit mode and click save afterwards:

<Item>dlcpacks:\kitt\</Item>

<Item>dlcpacks:\s4kitt\</Item>

<Item>dlcpacks:\s1karr\</Item>

<Item>dlcpacks:\s3karr\</Item>

3) copy the files from the scripts folder in your scripts folder and replace older versions

Note:

In case of upgrading from v5.7, you can delete the old karr dlc pack and the karr line in your dlclist.

The old Knight Rider Mod files are not required. If you want to use the old Knight Rider Mod files for the Knight Rider 2008 mod, make sure to replace the files with my new versions in Optional things\Knight Rider 2008 Mod files\scripts

Optional T-Top Roof Installation:

1) Download and install VehFuncs V by RealZolika1351: https://de.gta5-mods.com/scripts/vehfuncs-v

2) Add kitt and s4kitt (Knight Rider Mod folder\T-Top Roof\VehFuncsV) to the VehFuncsV in your main gta 5 folder

3) Replace VehFuncsV in your main gta 5 folder with the one provided in Knight Rider Mod folder\T-Top Roof

Optional Knight Rider 2008 Mod:

This mod only covers the original Knight Rider Series. The Knight Rider 2008 Series will be done after the original Mod is finished. So if you want to use the Knight Rider 2008 mod, make sure, you are using the provided files in the optional things/Knight Rider 2008 mod folder to prevent conflicts. In case of upgrading from an older version, replace the old files.

Optional Batman Mod Addon:

For the additional gadgets like Oil Slick, grappling hook, Tyre Buster and Smoke Screen, i recommend using the Batman Mod by JulioNIB: https://de.gta5-mods.com/scripts/batman-script-mod-v1-0

After you installed the batman mod, you can use my attached files (Batman Gadgets) to make it work with the Knight Rider Mod.

Troubleshooting:

Make sure, you have ScriptHook and ScriptHook.net installed. They are required for all scripts to work → http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/    and    https://de.gta5-mods.com/tools/scripthookv-net

If you are getting errors after installing the dlc packs, make sure, you have a gameconfig.xml file installed, that fits your game version and allows additional dlc packs.

If you are using the mods folder, make sure, you copied the vehicle dlc packs to your mods folder and add the entries to the dlc list in your mods folder as well.

in some cases, it helps installing the following:

On weak Systems and/or heavily modded Installations, the new KITT Speedmeter might not be displayed fluently. In that case, remove the KITT Speedmeter.dll file from your scripts folder and install the low performance speedmeter files from the optional things folder

Note:

This mod is designed for keyboard. I don't know and can't test how the functions work with controllers

you don't need all that, but if you are new to modding, it might be interesting for you until 12:30

In Case, Scripthook does not work with the latest GTA Game Update, you might have to downgrade the game until scripthook got updated.

Notes about installation support:

I do not support on setting up your GTA 5 or on getting your game working for mods. I also won't copy the files for you.

Everything you need is provided and explained in the readme files and the guides.

Please read the installation instructions at the top of the description carefully and  follow the steps to make sure, everything is working properly.

After you made sure, you followed all steps carefully and still have any issue, please make screenshots of your folders and ingame screenshots to explain and show your issue (including a detailed list of the steps you did so far) in my discord: discord.gg/TFbRXMmv.
