Story Post: Grunt Work (Patreon)

Apologies on this being a day late, but I wanted to make sure I nailed it. More importantly: were any of you hoping for a Tanner story?

'cause this month I've got a Tanner story!

This one takes place on St. Jude, way back in the days of Poor Man's Fight. When I wrote that book I was concerned about pacing, and I feel like the attention to Tanner's time on his first ship suffered a little for it. That's a topic I always wanted to fill out a little more, along with experiences during the war. We may see more of that in the future.

For now, here he is, still the boot of the most toxic ship in the fleet. It turns out sometimes they did actual work, too!
