Hi all,

As promised, here's the conclusion of Field Testing, a Poor Man's Fight story set during the Debtor's War.

This was broken into two posts because of its length, with part one posted last month. I decided it's probably nicer to have the full story here in a single file, so hopefully that doesn't cause anybody problems.  :)

As always, your support means a ton. This Patreon has turned out to be a big help for me financially while I'm between book launches, and it's just a generally great way to break up my writing pace and fill in some elements that don't fit into novels. I'm really grateful to everyone here--and thank you for being cool with the two-parter approach!

I've heard more than one published author lament that making a living as a writer often means you get two humonguous piles (in the best case) of money each year, and nothing in between, due to the royalty periods. I imagine self-publishing isn't that different here. AFAIK, heat build-up is a huge problem in space, since it is only possible to get rid of excess heat through radiation.

That was was a treat to read; and Gunny/Malone interactions are always fun. Thanks for the story

Tanner, " Gunny, I'm going to go burn down the robot factory." Gunny, "I'm already packed, let's go." These two are great in every scene together.
