Hi all!

I've been dying to share the cover for HOT RESTART!

Once again, I was lucky to snag a spot in Julie Dillon's schedule for this artwork. She's been super busy with other projects, so I'm grateful to have gotten this, and I couldn't be happier. I'm also grateful to Rose for the title and design work; she's one half of RPG Toons & R-N-W, a team of RPG creators here on Patreon with WONDERFUL stuff.

I'll add links to their sites in the comments because Patreon is getting cranky at me with links here for some reason.

I also wanted to share some of the earlier drafts and concept art for the cover, just to show you all a little of what the process looks like. Julie & I went back and forth on ideas a couple times before she came up with this crowd scene and I was instantly sold.

(Real talk: my first reaction to the back-to-back pose at the party there was "Oh my god I love it but we can't do this because I NEED this done with Alex and Lorelei picture instead!" IDK if or when I'll ever get that done, but uh... yeah. That happened.)

HOT RESTART has only around a hundred pages or so of line-edits to go, and then some formatting stuff for ebook and paperback. I think we're looking at an ebook release in a couple weeks, with paperbacks to follow. There's always a little delay on paperbacks to get physical proof copies and make any necessary corrections. Sure, I could wait until it's all done and release it all at once, but I'm way too antsy to release for that!

What a fantastic, wonderful surprise! Was not expecting that for a cover, lol, but it fits what little I've seen, read, and guessed about the book. One line in particular, where Selene expresses a desire to enjoy and experience new things, immediately came to mind. I absolutely love it. And you're right, we totally need a version for Lorelei and Alex!

That blurb is everything sir. Can't wait to promote this to everyone I know! That cover art is wonderful, so many different races and the smokey tone, woooo!

Rather different from Julie Dillon's usual style, both in colouring and line work.

It's great to see these alternate covers. I actually love the one with Selene jumping through the air holding Riley. It's a nice callback to pulp but with the old gender roles reversed.
