Story time!

This one has been in my head for about a year. I wrestled hard with maybe using it as the intro chapter for the next Good Intentions... and I haven't entirely let go of that idea, so don't hold it against me. :) But the idea stuck and I felt like writing it.

This one's a big change of pace from the usual GI content--not adventurey, not so much for the sexytimes, either. Also while we see a little of Taylor and Jason here, it feels like too little to include tags for them.

ONE MORE THING: Let me know if you want more of the adventures of Erendala and Far Dog!

Yay! A story of sensible length! Interesting story, adding some depth to Alex's life before meeting Rachel and Lorelei. Some fun callbacks to earlier events too. It felt a bit disjointed, however, with the roleplaying game not really connected with the rest, and the encounter with Mike felt like it ended prematurely. It really read like the beginning of a longer story. As for Erendala and Far Dog, at least for me it'd partially depend on what you intend for them. Fun little vignettes in other stories - great. As for the main course in stories, I'm sceptical, but you might be able to persuade me. (Ie, I'm certainly willing to read at least a single story focusing on them.)

Come to think of it, the decision to confront Dotson directly is typical for Alex. He had other options, like bringing in Amber and the FBI task force into the loop first. That's something he probably needs to learn down the line: to know when to step back and let other people do the work, or even that in some situations it's best to do nothing.

This is by no means a criticism, but I’ve noticed that you haven’t published an erotic focused GI story since January. I know you had talked previously about rotating the stories you publish here. I.e GI then Erotic GI then PMF then WM, then back again. Is that something you’ve decided against?

I need to re-read all of the GI books again (oh no, what a burden! :-)), so this might have already been answered and I'm just mind-blanking, but has Rache's status been clarified since she was told to take a long vacation from Dominion over Seattle? Does she still have that power level? Is she just back to being a Guardian with a limited portfolio? Free-reign 'plausible deniability' for necessary shenanigans? (I think Lorelei predicted that back in the first book.) Or is that a plot element for a future book? :-)
