Hi all!

This story is, as I mentioned in an earlier post, zooming right along now. I'm several chapters ahead and HOPING to put many more miles on it this month. Many things are subject to change, but I'm fairly solid with the entries we've got so far, including this one.

Life (and Sunday) gave Evan a few minutes to breathe in our last chapter. Obviously, it's time to flip the table on him again!

Random dumb question: is this the story post for the month? I only ask because the title doesn’t say “story post” so I wasn’t sure you were doubling up like you did in December.

1. Arson and defenestration, and the plot has barely started. 2. I could get Evan not being prepared for shenanigans, but it felt a bit like Sunday let her tradecraft drop there, in not being prepared for that Anatole could know where she lived. On the other hand, "i'm going home" ought to be a powerful sense of safety, but I think Ethan's comment would have put some doubt into that. 3. Anatole's organisation must have taken some serious losses by now. Like at least six normal goons, one corrupt cop, one vampire, and one pet sorcerer. But then there are all the other spookies who got his message… 4. Unrelated, but Sunday likely has some serious future legal issues with the Task Force over all the crimes she committed while possessed by Nahash.
