Weekly Update (Patreon)

Greetings, shinobi!

The update is almost ready! There's just one scene left to finish, and you can see the beginning of it in this post's cover image.

All the other artwork is finished and already added to the game. The translation is also complete, and I'll be adding it to the game this week.

Right now, I'm working on the sound effects and music for the new scenes. So, most of the work is already done. Just need to put the finishing touches on everything.

As a reminder, the update is scheduled for release on November 16.

I'm also working on a new translation platform on the side. We're currently using Weblate (an open-source translation platform), but it's designed to handle all kinds of projects, which makes it pretty heavyweight for our needs. It uses a lot of resources, runs slowly, and occasionally crashes.

So I decided to build our own platform specifically for translating the game. It'll be simpler and more lightweight, with a focus on making the translation process easier. It should run much faster and more reliably, and be easier to maintain.

Обновление уже почти готово! Осталось закончить всего одну сцену, начало которой вы можете увидеть на обложке этого поста.

Все остальные арты уже готовы и добавлены в игру. Перевод тоже завершён, на этой неделе добавлю его в игру.

Сейчас занимаюсь звуками и музыкой для новых сцен. В общем, основная часть работы уже позади, осталось довести всё до ума.

Напоминаю, что дата релиза обновления - 16 ноября.

Параллельно работаю над новым сервисом переводов. Сейчас мы используем Weblate (платформу для переводов с открытым исходным кодом). Она сделана с целью перевода самых разных проектов и из-за этого слишком тяжелая. Потребляет много ресурсов, тормозит и периодически падает.

В итоге решил сделать свой сервис, заточенный именно под перевод нашей игры. Ничего лишнего, только нужные нам функции. Работать он должен заметно быстрее и стабильнее, да и поддерживать его будет проще.
