We live in strange times. Hopefully you are all safe and finding ways to cope in this era of social distancing. I've been  transition my D&D games over to Discord and am trying to help others do the the same. It's never been a more important time to play D&D.

If you haven't yet picked it up, your patronage includes Regnum Rattus – The Rats in the Cellar, an exclusive 1st to 5th level 5e adventure with design by Brian Patterson and cartography by Daniel Walthall. Enjoy!

Thanks to your patronage, I've been able to continue producing articles and videos including the following. Your patronage also helps support the Sly Flourish newsletter. Sign up and get each weekly Sly Flourish article sent straight to your inbox.

I have and love the Return of the Lazy DM from the KS, but have lately been binging your Saltmarsh videos preparing to run it shortly. Wanted to join for a few months to say thanks!

I'd like to second that. Your you tube videos helped an old school gamer who hadn't run D&D in fifteen years feel comfortable diving into a full campaign with friends. I've watched your weekend videos faithfully for months.

My game is, on the other hand, about as excessively verbose as I am, because every time we have a few weeks between sessions I get...creative. So at 18 sessions they're just now capturing the Sea Ghost. I expanded the haunted house, a LOT, including putting it on a winding hill ascent with the giant weasels having sneak attack and being controlled by a giant badger with plant growth powers, and the undead alchemist being reskinned as a hybrid mummy/specter with a retinue of Shadows which were the remnants of Ned's party of evil adventurers...

But Lazy prep has been absolutely critical to pulling off my excesses.

Getting creative is great! There's no right or wrong way if it works for you and your group.
