Here's a sneak preview of an upcoming YouTube video for Mashing Up Monsters. How to use any monster as a template to change up any other monster. Enjoy!

Note, if the video is unavailable that means I've scheduled it for general posting and it will show up again in a few days.

Im currently running 2 campaigns in the same homebrew setting with lots of abyssal incursions so Ive been homebrewing a bunch of monsters. On one hand, I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't learn anything from this video but on the other hand, I know now that I'm doing it "the right way".

really interesting: I knew about reskining, but mashing makes sense in some cases. I can also see this working when trying to represent a TOP member of a monster race.

Just hearing about the Stone Giant Lich made me think of mashing up a Frost Giant version for Tomb of Annihilation (competing Lich to Ace and others in that book). Thanks for video!
