I just wrote a bit of flash fiction for my current campaign, and my players really appreciated it. The paragraph filled in some gaps and connected some dots that they hadn't picked up in live play. I think I may use some of my undiscovered secrets and clues for between-session fiction inspiration in the future.

Flash Fiction was one of my most impactful tools for the 3 Year Campaign I just finished. I got to have NPC moments, show character impact, reaffirm the Presence of villains, foreshadow events, and provide dramatic irony for my players. It was most useful as a context setter, filling in bits of plot or concept I felt my players didnt have a full grip on.
