Thanks, Jake, we appreciate you fam. What do you guys think of the song, and what do you think about keeping the name when some of the members are not there anymore. We will post this to YouTube tomorrow, next up will be The Roast of Bob Saget.

I’d keep the name. Emily Armstrong is starting to grow on me and this single is textbook Linkin Park from the 2000s. She’s killing so far 👍.

Chester would likely be annoyed that it took them seven years. And he'd probably be annoyed if they changed the name of the band. But he'd DEFINITELY be upset if they stopped playing music that he wrote. It's ridiculous that there are people upset with the fact that Linkin Park is continuing to play older songs, even with Emily Armstrong... it would be more disrespectful to Chester's memory to just act like he never exists and that those songs were never written. I know who Mark Wakefield is, and 80% of Hybrid Theory was already written before they even MET Chester Bennington. He wanted his music to outlive him. He was more than talented, he was more than respected. He was loved, and he saved countless lives, including mine, and people still need these songs. The last thing I would ever want Linkin Park to do is to adopt the policy that, "we don't talk about that other guy - our last singer". I do know that there wasn't even a concentrated effort to reunite Linkin Park -- Mike Shinoda had just been working on stuff with other people, like Emily and Colin - they'd write songs and it just started falling together, they'd call up Brad to help with a guitar part, or Joe would be there showing off some new samples he made, etc. They talked about how there are songs on this album that sound so much like Linkin Park that it would be an insult to call them anything else. "Heavy Is The Crown" is a perfect example of this -- it brings back the rap, there's a huge chorus, there's an epic 16-second long scream in the bridge, it's hardcore. And it sounds so much like a Linkin Park song that if you heard it, you'd say, "This is Linkin Park."
