Professor Shama Rangwala joins me to discuss Tim Burton's spectacular failure to revitalize the Apes series.

Marky Mark gets lost in space and stranded on a world ruled by apes. Will this movie get racist real fast? Yes. We explore the film's psychosexual politics, white slavery narratives, and every other strange and horrifying aspect of its two hour runtime.
