"Where have you been?" (Patreon)

Hi. It's been a while, hasn't it? I guess I should talk a little bit about what I've been up to and why I've been so darn quiet the past six weeks or so.

Let's address the first big question; "When are you going to get around to that comic about the tanned-skin basketball playing girl"? The answer, well, is likely never. It has been cancelled.

I have decided, aside from the princess/queen story idea I threw around earlier this year, I will no longer be doing comics involving age progression/transformation of young girls for In-Tune Studios. This was a decision I myself have decided on going forward. This also includes any future stories involving Berry, for the record. (I will NOT be deleting any older comics, by the way. Those will stay.)

The second big question everyone's probably wondering; "When are you going to get back to regular updates/new art?". I'd love to say the answer to that is soon, but that is likely not going to be the case.

August 2022 was a VERY stressful month for me as a whole. Not only did I blow a lot of money on a trip last July that was honestly not worth it at the end, but it cost me several days of work, which cut into my monthly rent and college tuition payments for August as well. The days I DID work were usually long and winding, and it has greatly affected my ability to think of new ideas/concepts. Even if I had the money to commission new artwork, the lack of ideas would mean I wouldn't be able to comprehend said ideas anyway. And while I am an American, and thus eligible to have my college tuition payments paid off whenever that plan from Joe Biden comes into effect this year, my monthly rent will go up once they are paid off as well, so the odds of me having extra spending money will likely NOT go up with it. Sorry, but real life comes first over drawings.

Third, in late August my phone suddenly decided that having a charge was passé. My phone has been finicky about charging and working for a while now. I joke not that it requires near millimeter precision with a plug to charge it at VERY precise angles to get it to charge, and only the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller plug of all things works for it. It's also not uncommon for it to take up to five hours to fully charge from a dead battery. As such, I had to get a new phone, which until fully paid off will eat further away at my money.

So yeah. A lot of crap happened to me in August, resulting in me going AWOL aside from a few scattered updates.

Mini Girls Redesigned Mikii WILL be done. I promise you all that I will try to get that out sooner than later. But the artist of In-Tune Studios themselves have also been busy this summer. I didn't mention it until now because compared to my money issues, their being busy is quite trivial in comparison.

I do have a couple of upcoming updates coming up, including writing some backstory for some of my characters, something I've been wanting to do all summer but never got around to doing so. I hope to chat with you again sooner than later.
