Insurance Changes | Telling my Therapist about my ED | Moving Into My First House! (Patreon)

2. How do things change when we start recovery? I’ve been seeing a therapist off and on for a few years but it’s only recently that I’ve been more open to working on the more difficult things and want to tell him about my eating struggles (Its been a few years - I used to restrict now I also b/p). However, I’m worried about how things will change after I tell him. He’s not an ED therapist and I have no idea how he’ll react or what he’ll recommend in terms of other doctors, telling my parents, my veganism, how much time I’ll have to devote to working on getting better before college across the country in the fall.
3. In about a month I will be moving into my first house!! I will be living completely alone for the first time. Currently I live in an apt. With my roommate. Up until now I was very excited about not having a roommate, but all of a sudden I have this anxiety of living by myself. Right now when my roommate leaves for several days I tend to be worse emotionally. I am worse about my skin picking, keeping the place clean, stay in bed a lot more, etc. Having someone there helps motivate me (fear of their judgement being my motivator). I'm worried I won't be able to be a healthy adult being by myself. Also my grandma is a hoarder so I have this fear of becoming that. 1. What are some things I can do to ease the fear/anxiety during this transition? 2. How can I find motivation to keep from "letting myself go" without having that fear of judgement pushing me?
