Q3. 30.46 - Can CPTSD progress into something else or affect identity if things are not improving without right support? Q4. 40.37 - My question this month is about BED. I have been struggling with BED for a very long time, How do I not self-sabotage What if they turn me down for the surgery again? this is my 3rd time reaching out for the surgery? They said I was not mentally ready. I don't think I can handle being turned down again. I just finished reading "Eating in the light of my moon." I am still trying to digest it. It was a good book but it was a lot. I may have to read it again. Any other books you suggest? Q5. 46.06 - Hi Kati, Not sure if this is an answerable question, but could you talk about how to find a new “purpose” in life. Q6. 51.25- I have a question regarding orthorexia. Q7.1.00.20 - Do you think that sexual abuse can change your sexual preference? Would I have been straight or bisexual if it weren't for the abuse? Q8. 1.08.34 - What does respect look like in a relationship? Q9. 1.17.10 - Who likes rejection? What does rejection sensitivity even mean? Are there superheros out there just getting rejected from everything they've ever wanted and just being happy about it? Is there a difference between rejection sensitivity and rejection sensitivity disorder? How do I get through this? Q10. 1.25.51 - I guess I’m wondering if this is literally RO DBT. Like call out bullshit? Q11. 1.33.44 - How do I nurture my inner child without freaking out my partner? Q12. 1.38.50 - Is it possible that I'm dealing with trauma from having been embarrassed in front of all the people on the Zoom call? I thought I had gotten over this, but maybe I haven't. Besides therapy and journaling, what would you suggest to move past this? Q13. 1.45.08 - Can you talk about the pros and cons of asking to see your therapist's patient records? Are there insights to be gained? Could the notes be hurtful or re-traumatizing? Q14. 1.49.59 - How do I differentiate between being in love with the person or them being my favorite person in a BPD way?
