v0.07 was a bit of a slow burner compared to previous updates, but I think it'll be worth the wait! Here's what's new with it this week!

Stat Calculation Overhaul

Up until this point, every stat was linear, meaning, if your character's speed increased 2 fold, your character's apparent speed would've too, making speed way too important when compared to other stats, since Speed and Endurance mainly determine your character's ability to run. In v0.07, stat's effects on race performance decay after some point, so it's no longer "my number's bigger than yours!" game. Along with changes to the suitability multipliers used in race effort calculations and stat scaling applied to all racers.

"Digestion Helper" Minigame

A new minigame where you help your trainee digest some meals to wind down and relax after a long day. You, as her trainer, are tasked with massaging her belly to make digestion quicker, and you'll be able to put an ear on and hear what's going on inside as well! Along with a purple cat's newest invention of X-Ray technology, allowing you to see what's going on inside real time!

When's The New Testing Version Coming?

Probably next week after I wrap up my balance maths that has been all over the place this week. Thanks so much for your support and I'll see you next week!

Out of curiosity. Since you’ve spoken about speed and endurance. Not being the entire factor of winning/losing a race. I was wondering when we might have more control over the race’s themselves. So to speak. For example. If your trainee’s speed is at least 5 over the opponents stat. Then it’s a 99.9% guaranteed win. Even if you set your trainee’s to ‘Seeker’ speed. Meanwhile, if you have all but 1 stat point off, in terms of speed. (To the opponents highest/top speed stat.) Then you just watch your trainee fall behind. Like they’ve never ran a day in their lives. Aside from actual racing. I was wondering if there would be a ‘competition’ mode. Instead of a finish line, there would be a timer or something along those lines. Where all the trainee’s/racers try to survive against each other. Basically. The goal would be either out eating your opponents. Or just being the last 1 standing. It would be set up like a race. But speed and endurance have no play in the matter. It would purely be reliant on the pred stats. I think that would be a neat idea anyway. Could be a high risk high reward kinda thing.
