Sad news. My links from here are being passed around in a telegram/discord groups. I don't know how to feel and deal with this yet. The hard work I put is being taken advantage of.

Disgusting behaviour, whoever done it should be ashamed, unfortunately it isn’t something you can ever control. The only option is to hide a code in each mesh/file you give to an individual. Then when you see it circulating you know who it is, and then ban them. Such a shame

Im a bit lost, whats does this mean? What is discord? Is it someone that sold your stl files? Why don't you report and ban him everywhere, send a rwport in every stl group on fbook too. That's disgusting.

Ashley Akers

That’s terrible! That just happened a few days ago on the $$$Special STLs$$$ facebook group. I hate that; as an artist myself that’s why it’s hard for me to sell any models or upload any designs on thingiverse as I’m afraid someone will start selling on Etsy, FB groups, discord’s, etc. hope you find out who it is and are able to remove them. Sorry this happened to you!

John Newsome

I hate it that this happens, but there will always be scum out there stealing from someone. Too bad the ability to watermark each sent model with buyers name would be difficult to the extreme.

Grumpy Guy

There are still honest people that will continue to pay you for your work.

tlngo

using mesh safe to generate unique signature for each member. So we will find him if he share your file

Salvador Garcia

That is bullshit that is happening. I really enjoy your models and would hate to see anything jeopardize your great work.

Dexter

Sorry to hear that!

Paulo Bessa

There are always those who want to take advantage of the work of others. This is really very sad.

Now that sucks...good taste and good morals unfortunately do not walk hand in hand...

Broke as shit but still got the Supervillain tier, idk why you would pirate a normal person, big corporate movie companies and music and the like... sure go ahead but not someone who makes such awesome stuff.

The thing is I don't know who's sharing them. It's definitely one of my patrons. Weird feeling knowing there's a spy.

Such a shame that you have to take that extra step to safeguard the work, but honestly I would do it, and I’d take a lot of pleasure in getting revenge on the individual somehow some way. I can just leave it to Karma, I need to see and feel the revenge lol
