The Big Announcement! (Patreon)

Heya everyone! :D Gen here!

Yes, you heard that right! First and foremost, let's welcome our new C27 partner - Forge! We're so happy that Forge has joined our team. He is a long time freelance sculptor and one of the best I personally know. He is an amazing artist as is an awesome friend. Tacos and I are blessed to have him onboard C27 <3 Let's all welcome.. FORGE!

As the tagline suggests..

"As the dogs of doom bark at the doors of destiny, so shall we expand to forge our legacy."

C27 Minis & Terrain is now expanding its scope. As I head the Comic Characters releases and Tacos heads the Terrain Kit releases, I'm happy to announce that we'll now have Fantasy releases headed by Forge!

Our fantasy releases will be focused on monsters and playable characters for those familiar with Dungeons & Dragons or similar RPG or tabletop games.

What does this mean for us?

The fantasy releases are already included in all your pledged supports :) There isn't an added tier to go to or change to. Whichever tier you are in now, you will have additional access to the Fantasy character releases alongside the Comic Characters and Terrain Kit releases. Goliath Barbarian, Hobgoblin, and the Devourer will be ready for you at this weekend's MMF release :) There'll also be more fantasy releases coming next weekend!

:D I'm always looking for opportunities for us to grow here at C27 and I believe this is the right step forward. I'm always eager to make sure that your pledged support for us at C27 is getting better and better. Tacos, Forge, and I are always appreciative of you all! We'll have more and more upgrades to our Patreon studio and we're so happy that you all are in this journey with us :D

While i have not been thrilled when reading the email in my client.. (i already got my fantasy subscriptions and i only joined recently because it was NOT fantasy...) it changed when i saw the pictures on this post. those minis look fantastic. This is pretty awesome, so glad i found you guys early on. Def the minis i print the most of kind of like a "Collect them all". If if it's not a characters i'm gonna play, i still feel that need to print them lol. Keep up the good work. I do have one suggestion with going into the fantasy world, It would be cool to see some models for fantasy cartoons like Thundarr The Barbarian and Blackstarr. And the Fantasy ones you have shown look Amazing!!!

Saw the pics and immediately started working out if my budget could stretch to what I assumed would be a more expensive tier including the fantasy release... only to then see it's just part of the regular tier! Brilliant stuff, and it's great to see how fast you guys are growing and putting out more and more awesome minis!

Wow! At the moment I am blessed and able to support (and reap benefits) from over a dozen different Patreon’s /Tribes. I look forward to all to some degree but yours is one of the special ones that makes me look forward to reveals. This blows the others out of the water now. I get my superhero goodness and fantasy. I found you through your 90's xmen models. While I'd like to one day play marvel CP I don't currently, but stayed on for some of these cool models, just to print and paint for my shelf. As you have moved away from the 90's mutants I was considering dropping your patreon. Not now, as a DM for DnD the added benefit of models I can use and models I might want to print and place on a shelf makes it easier to stay on. the current models look great, I'd be really excited to see modular fantasy miniatures as well. Ball joint modular fantasy models add so much value for me as I can have multiple enemies and them not look cookie cutter. Just my 2 cents.

Hi Joe :) how about we be kind? We don't speak ill of each other here in our Patreon. Reading Mordecai's comment just came off as he's trying to help. And he's right. As mentioned in the post and comments, we're not removing anything or doing less. We're adding and improving. There truly is nothing to worry about :) Be kind.

As mentioned again in our post, all three of us (tacos, forge, and I) have our own departments :) there's no benefit in moving backwards. Again, our community is a helpful community. There's no need to be hostile.
