Allie Ladner

Bonny saying she wants friendship songs not knowing she’s going to get the line “so make the friendship bracelets” in yoyok 🥹

Taylor

Did we ever figure out what the upside phone means? Or the NiceBoy Ed thing?

Deborah

I have the same questions!!

domdodom

niceboy ed it was joe's friend trying to launch some career and taylor helped

Kristin Lohr

Wait till these chickens discover WAOLOM and ICDIWABH....

Courtney

Coming here feels like time traveling and I’m absolutely spiraling at all the things you’re saying that have come true. I came to the midnights playlist looking for a reaction to the antihero remix with the bleachers and you’ve predicted a collab with them! Mentioning red when talking about maroon. Also cackling at Emily’s dislike for a sports metaphor considering Travis! 😂

Emzies

I find it absolutely illegal for you to say what you said about Future in Endgame. I love the trio!

Ethan Nguyen

ONLY U TWO WOULD TALK AN HOUR ABOUT MUSIC THAT HASNT EVEN COME OUT YET

Seth & Brent

I thought this was a song reaction and had a heart attack

chatsandreacts

also we played with the background again but discuss it in the next videoe talking about the lover music video... but feeling good about this setup 💛 let us know thoughts feeling opinions

Ethan Nguyen

U GUYS R SO SILLY I LOVE U BOTH W ALL MY HEART

Keyshla Narváez

My besties! Can’t wait to dive in with you on the midnights mayhem theories haha

Leilani Willcox

Yay so excited to watch :) thank you for chatting about this important new information!

Liz

A WHOLE HOUR DISCUSSING MY STAN AND CLAIMED TRACK??? ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 BEST DAY EVER BECOMES TWO BEST DAYS, I LOVE YOU BOTH 🥰

Jessica

Yay!! Was waiting for this reaction 😊 .. Also, I absolutely love ur new background!

Liz

also love the new setup besties!!!!! looks so cozy and cute 🙈

Joe Weaver

It looks great. It is an adjustment on the eyes though not having the TV back there!

Sam Williams

Loveeeeee this new setup!! It looks so so good. Frames you both perfectly

k80scorner

Love the new setup!!

Erin

Only just started the video but TOTALLY agree that I am psyched to hear that we may be getting more self-reflecting non-romance songs! This is so cliche, but I’ve heard people say for years that you learn so much about yourself in your 30s, and entering my 30s this past year I am shocked that I 1000% agree. Nothing better than self-exploration and self awareness and so looking forward to some offensive music that can sync with those emotions!!!!

Jaimie C

So happy for a full hour chat about Midnights! The slight adjustment you made to your camera angle is PERFECT! Very cozy vibe.

Joe Weaver

It's hilarious a video that's not even a minute long could make us lose our minds! But she's infected us with this!

Samantha Murdoch Makeup

me trying to work you guys dropping things how are these two things meant to exist together?

emma

love love love the new setup!!

Jasmine Beckett

When I hear vigilante I think of Batman because he was known as as Vigilante. He doesnt really operate within the law or government but he still fights bad guys. He’s controversial because some people think he’s a hero for doing the “right” thing even if it makes him not well liked, while others hate him for thinking he’s “too good” to operate within the confines of the law. So I wonder if the song vigilante shit could be about the way she’s villanized even when she’s doing something good just because shes not doing it in the way society expects or wants her to. could be wrong but just a thought because Batman is known as a vigilante in the movies/comics!!

Sam Obrien

OMG this is such a fun surprise and exactly what I needed today!! Eeeeeep watching now!!

Sam Obrien

Anti-hero is for the mirrorball, archer, peace girlies and I’m losing it already. I MEED IT NOW

Jasmine Beckett

Omg I wrote all this right before you mention Batman 🤣 we’re thinking the same thing!! I feel like it’s going to be about her carving her own path of doing what’s right because she knows it’s right even if people don’t like the way she’s going about it or like the way she does it because it doesn’t conform to society’s expectations

Liz

yesss julia we’re so FED rn!!!

Lauren May

This background is fantastic! I like how can can have one vinyl front and center while also displaying the others and the plants and everything!!

Hannah Bessette

I CANNOT believe that anti-hero is only track 3 and not a track 5. How painful must track 5 be then?????

Madeline Kelly

I really feel like the upside down phone means those tracks are the remixed bonus tracks!! because it's like turning the track upside down, or mixing it up!

Jennifer

LOVE the setup, so cozy 💕

Amanda Laura

Where is Bonny getting her vintage band tees from?! Love them!

Allison

agreed about right where you left me!!! that song is way too good to be left as a bonus track!!!

Shaya

i think mastermind might be about her masters! like a play on words

Erika

Idk why but niceboy ed makes me think a band name maybe… like taylors version of Fleetwood Mac …. But also like can you imagine the band she could assemble 😱😱

Jaimie C

Random thought, what if niceboy_ed is Taylor giving us snippets of the Midnights' sound slowed/pitched down cuz she's just gonna drop the entire album Oct 21 w/ no singles before? She must know how badly ppl are wanting to hear a single/sound and she's just like yeh I'm giving it to you through niceboy_ed!! 😱

Amanda Mittelman

Definitely wouldn’t need this like the day of, but I would DIE for an unedited video of your midnights reaction. Obviously if you guys say something personal and want to cut that out, I think everyone would understand, but I seriously just want to experience as much of it “with” you guys as I can

D

I just checked that niceboy_ed instagram and there's another story and countdown for the 4th of October now, I wonder if it'll be another live with the same thing. I think a twitter account and tiktok account were also created just to tweet about oct 4th. I would be shook if this has nothing to do with Taylor

Leilani Willcox

Loved the chats, and so glad to hear you'll be giving us a short snippet of your reaction to Midnights early :)

Ileana Isabel

Okay, I gotta say I think I like this backdrop better🙈🙈 i dont know what it about it, but i love it. I love seeing the vinyls on the wall, and on the shelf and the one behind you, and somehow it looks much more cozy, idk but i love it!!

Charlotte Nixon

okay but the fact that she’s wearing the red ring in the Maroon video CANNOT be a coincidence!!

Kaitlyn Dillon

I seen a theory in twitter a bit ago that niceboyed is a scamble for Beyonce and Life You Lead is a scamble for Adele, Idk tho lol

angel (plnkblue)

omg the looking up of definitions made me realize that anti-hero and vigilante have mirrored connotations: a vigilante is someone who operates outside of the law to often help those who are unable to help themselves, while an anti-hero strives for justice in ways that may often be considered to be more harmful than helpful. not sure if that means anything, but i just think it's an interesting connection.

Andrea

yes this is what i think too!!! possibly with features on them for the remixes!

Ileana Isabel

Now, regarding the "is it or is it not a random thing" i personally think that if she was planning to release them in a specific order, that was most likely for the first few tracks, cause it is hard to tell the amount of balls that are left at first. But now that we are half way through, it would be harder to keep that up. Cause people will notice if it is the 9th track she announces, but there are 6 balls left or something, if that makes sense🙈🙈 Personally, I think there's a chance it is actually random and she just got lucky with the first one being 13 lol But then again, on the second video the balls aren't very visible, and then on the last one before yesterday, she was wearing the red ring and the song was called maroon 🤔🤔 who knows, she's the mastermind xd

Ileana Isabel

I do think that if she was releasing them in the order she wants and not randomly, then that will probably die out soon, cause again, the less balls in the thing, the easier it is to count them and see how many are left🙈

Courtney A

I love this set up!! 🥰

farah abed

I thought it was so sad how in her instagram reel she said: 'boohoo don't feel bad for me, you don't have to'. I immediately went like: No honey I do though.. And we all know she said that because she knows people will come after her for 'complaining' about her fame and seeming ungrateful, like 'oh no the rich white girl can't handle being in the public eye etc' It really made me so sad how she felt she had to say that and almost disregard her own feelings, because like you guys said, we cannot even begin to imagine what it's like to live a life at the level of fame she has... it definitely comes at the cost of so many things that we can't fathom. I'm so deeply excited and concerned for this song 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Clara

What if niceboy_ed is a name pulled from the songs Joe has worked on previous to midnights? What if it's a sign of Joe what has collaborated on? What if niceboy_ed is exactly what Jaimie C is saying is right? I think you are right about releasing track titles as she pleases because remember her explanation of Midnight Mayhem????? She is doing easter eggs IN FRONT OF OUR FACES. That is my belief. Please, someone! Let me know if I am clowning!!!

Daniel Jackson

I’m totally with you guys on the nice boy Ed stuff. Like if you were just an artist and Taylor was kind enough to give you a boost…wouldn’t you be capitalizing on that?! Like not just release one song and have zero social media presence or anything. It’s all way too sus.

Madeline Kelly

She's also been saying 'this is the fifth ep' etc on midnights mayhem - so maybe it is random??

anya

Omg illegal!!! This is so good

Julia

Love the new backdrop and angle! Will gladly watch hour long videos of you guys just chatting about this album. The instagram reel was SO offensive. I can't believe we are going to be listening to this album THIS month

Hannah S

Loving this setup!

Hannah S

I agree that Midnights rain could be about Joe especially because apparently it was raining the night they met in the dive bar and it’s raining at night in the Delicate MV!

Lauren Levitt

Vigilante Shit gives me Getaway Car vibes!!! Also I think the 2 upside down phones might be the remix songs

Ariel Baker

If Lana is on Vigilante Shit I will DIE! and I would absolutely not survive a Taylor/Bleachers collab. What on earth is the current countdown on Niceboy_Ed's instagram stories?! It ends in like 10 hours... middle of the night in Australia. Could this be when she releases a single?!

Hannah S

I think the two upside down phones means the songs correlate. So like metaphorically Vigilante Shit and Anti-Hero together tell a larger story the way Betty/August/Cardigan does.

Richard

Another great conversation. Have fun in Paris.

Louise Petersen

I definitely think the MMWM videos are pre-filmed because her nails are from that Gold Dress she wore to TIFF and we know she changed it for the songwriting awards so she could play the guitar. But I do think she's releasing them as she picked them out but is adding extra content depending on the next song if that makes sense

Vanessa

Maybe with the reputation callback for "question..." It could be the questions that kept her up at night should she fight back at her cancellation or should she give up? Just thinking about things that would keep her up in the middle of the night and if she should continue her music career after everyone tried to cancel her would be a big one

OurSong13

Wow I loved this chat so much! Fascinating what you discussed how the music industry is constantly evolving. After seeing the insta reel of Taylor discussing Anti-Hero and mentioning she struggles at times to feel like a person, I was wondering if maybe the whole nice boy ed thing could actually just be her creating these small accounts and putting out music without people knowing it's her and in a way to see how it's received. I wonder if sometimes she has negative thoughts about her music because she is such a popular artist that she doesn't know whether people like it or not especially at first because she is Taylor freaking Swift and when Taylor Swift drops any music the public WILL be consuming. I mean that 5 seconds or whatever of static noise that was released on accident during the 1989 release went straight to #1 or something crazy like that. So maybe I wonder if she gets insecure about releasing new music at times. It may not be until after she sees all her fans online showing their love for certain tracks that she can see that the songs do really captivate people. I doubt it is all her songs but maybe there are one or 2 on an album she isn't sure about. Though I do think she has a lot of pride in her songs and probably knows they are superior but like we all have insecurities

Hannah S

I think the photo of the little boy on the cover art for Life You Lead looks like baby Austin Swift but my favorite unhinged theory is Nikolas thinking that it’s Taylor and Joes secret child 😂

bodiielectriic

Oh fearless had too many co writers? LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO! Speak now enters the chat 🥹 love it

Marie S.

feel free to make the midnights reaction video 3hrs long :D :D

farah abed

this is so sooo fascinating and i could totally see how she thinks this way... and it really breaks my heart because yes she's one of the biggest stars on the entire planet but she REALLY is the most superior EVER 😭

Shan

I would honestly watch you two talk about anything for HOURS!!!!! It being about our girl just makes it to much better 🥰

mieke

happy to confirm suspicion: i would not survive a bleachers collab 😵👍

Liz

also my theory for the upside down phone: remixes!!!!! there are 2 remixes on the bonus tracks, and so far 2 upside down phone tracks (anti-hero and vigilante shit) we’ll know by the end of midnights mayhem if they are the only 2 with the upside down phone then remixes are the likely answer! we’ll see if it debunks 👓

Park Aishah

Love the new background guysss...

Chloe

love this vid grls, always feel so connected to your conversations! Also call me crazy but i reckon niceboy ed is harry, middle name Edward, last name STYLES hehe

mieke

love it! looks so cozy ☺️💕

Zoe

What if Maroon is the sleepless night when she lost the Grammy for red ???? I remember her saying she didn’t sleep that night and decided on 1989. Maroon being like a darker red etc 😭😭😭😭😭😭 and if we get a ft. William Bowery I don’t know what I’ll do

Zane Groenewald

Hi Bonnie and Emily. Zane here from South Africa. I absolutely love you guys! So happy to support you ❤️❤️

Eoin Macken

Love the new backdrop!!!!

Monica Gaura

1.] I feel like the two remixes are going to be the collabs~~ she seems to be putting so much careful thought into this album and everything is very deliberate, so I don’t think she’ll mix in other artists on the standard album. (Or at least that’s what I hope 🙃) 2.] have you guys talked about broods?? I think I heard you mention them in another video, but in a different context.. if you go to Taylor’s official YouTube page, where she has her self-made playlists, there’s a music video for a broods song on her “rep tour and friends” playlist that starts the exact same way as midnight mayhem: with a “midnight with mick night” 70s talk show. 3.] as for the upside down phone — maybe that means those songs are connected somehow?? Like part of the same storyline? The titles feel like they could be. 4.] the niceboy ed thing is BAFFLING. But I don’t think it’s Taylor pitched down.. bc you can listen to the full song on Spotify and it doesn’t sound like Taylor lyrics. Maybe it is just joe’s friend. Just feels like there would be more to it than that. Mostly bc of how cryptic they’re being. Though after today’s countdown livestream, I am starting to think it has nothing to do with Taylor or midnights.

Shannon

I’m hoping we have a bts chat for every song / a making. She only released one as a teaser but we’ll get the rest one the album drops! Like what is that glam for…it is a LOOOK, would it really just be for social media? It feels like there’s something bigger going on. TS10 is so symbolic!! Ahhhh I’m SO EXCITED!

Shannon

Also her wearing the red ring for maroon makes me think that maybe she is leaving hints for what era the sleepless night occurred. Question…? reminded me for rep too and mightnight rain is 100% giving fearless.

Zane Groenewald

I’m here for A Lana / Stevie Nicks / 1975 collab

MarkH

I like this better too; it seems more intimate, and also more focused in a way--you can have a single album in the background like you have Lover here. So when you put reputation up it can demand the focus, like it has in several of your videos!

moza

I strongly believe that niceboy ed is a made up name and it’s just taylor teasing us .. niceboy ed does NOT exist. She did the same thing with look what you made me do - jack leopards and the dolphin club is a made up band name and we all know that her brother is the vocalist? maybe life you lead is a song on midnights but maybe the cover has a different melody? IDK I HAVE SO MANY THOUGHTS

MarkH

So many good things here! I especially like how you remind yourselves that we actually don't know anything, because we really don't. We will know what this all means in hindsight, but until then we are just guessing. I'm thinking she is ramping up as we get closer, and she will continue to do that. I have one crazy thing to say, inspired by Bonny saying she wonders if niceboy ed could be an anagram. Here is such an anagram: Beyonce ID That is really crazy, I know, but there it is!

Gustav Lucas

I love not having a single!! Diving into 𝑓𝑜𝑙𝑘𝑙𝑜𝑟𝑒 and 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 without any previous sound was simply a transcendental experience... Harry Styles would say "it's called edging"

Maya

I don't think the songs are about midnights in her life but about the things that kept her up at night, so she wrote the songs in the middle of the night but not necessarily about something that happened at midnight. If that makes sense

izzy

LOVE THE NEW BACKDROP LADIES

Maya

How would she manipulate midnights mayhem though? She says "this is the third" or"fifth" song she's announcing or when she did the first she explained the concept. Do you think she recorded them over and over until the right number came out? So maybe it really is fate.

Iga W.

What if the two remixes will be featured in the upcoming Deadpool movie?

Beatrix P

This background is gorgeous!! Love the layout

Zoë

what if niceboy ed is harry? he's known and celebrated for his kindness, being kind or nice is completely associated with him as a person in the public dicourse (= niceboy) and his second name is edward (= ed)!!

Maya

I love how her top songs on spotify include don't blame me august and cruel summer and NONE of them have been singles.

Madi Rose

side note but THIS IS THE BACKGROUND!!! something about the corner adds some depth that i like to your backdrop i hope yall keep this one hahaha

Nele

what a nice surprise aaaah!! literally could listen to you two talk for so so long and also the background is absolutely beautiful and cozy <333

farah abed

exactly ! SO iconic and something no other artists have FOR SURE

MarkH

Actually this is easy. You just record all the TikToks at once, so it really is random when you are recording it. And then you release them in the order you want to. Ooh, just realized a problem with this theory; there were really 13 balls when she picked 13. OK, so new idea; decide what order you want. Then put the right number of balls in the cage, but just label them all with the number you want.

MarkH

But let me point out that a year ago none of those songs were anywhere close to her top songs. All three of them have seen huge streaming boosts just this year. And, by the way, exile has even more total streams (for now) than any of these 3, and it was not a single either.

Juri

I believe every ball in that thing had the number she wanted to announce, or she kept re-recording till she got the tracks she wanted. I mean the fact that the first one being the 13th track and the 3ed track being announced on Oct 3ed is really not a coincidence in my opinion. I think she keeps saying fate sarcastically cause she knows nothing she does is not planned. I was also thinking that maybe being strategic like that has to do with Mastermind or Anti-hero.

C

can I just say I'm LOVING this setup/background!!!! even more than the previous new one for the gracie album reaction

C

I 100% believe that set she's on talking about anti hero on was the music video. In that vide of her introducing the vinyl clock, she has the vinyls there so it's not the album shoot set. she was definitely filming all this extra footage on set for the first single videoooo !! (so not necessarily a single we get before the album but the first single from the album)

MarkH

Yes, totally agree with this.

MarkH

Don't forget Nils Sjoberg as well!

MarkH

Another comment: if you think of "maroon" as a verb meaning "to strand", it finds in very well with "exile" and also the song "evermore" ("When I was shipwrecked..."). But she's all about double meanings, so I'm sure she will get the color in there too.

MarkH

There is a long tradition of famous artists doing things like this. Taylor herself did it with Nils Sjoberg. Mariah Carey recently revealed she had done it. JK Rowling did it with her mystery novels. So it is definitely a possibility.

Mackenzie

ok the nice boy ed thing.... what if because she's been into tik tok more lately and it's a big thing on tik tok for songs to be pitched up and sped up or pitched down and slowed down.... that the remixes are those two versions of one of the songs? kinda not very Taylor but also could do really well on tik tok

Erica

Love this background!!!

Erica

I definitely think the upside down phone could mean singles! Also, what if the last song name she announces is “Life you lead”?!!!!!!!! 😱 that would be so exciting.

Erica

I mean, it does sounds like those lyrics of life you lead go along with what she said about feeling like her life has gotten unmanageable. “It’s just the life you lead, but it’s yours!” Like a reminder to herself that she has a life she can appreciate. ❤️

Nina Conte

Such a pretty new background!! ✨ This might be an obvious thing to say but I don’t think I’ve heard anyone mention this yet—in literature an antihero is a specific type of protagonist, usually a protagonist who isn’t necessarily righteous or “good” but you still root for them. The definition of an antihero is “a central character in a story, movie, or drama who lacks conventional heroic attributes.” Batman is a classic example of an antihero, and so it was interesting how Bonny referenced Batman when talking about vigilantes! Another little connection between these two songs. I’m super excited for the song Anti Hero because with what Taylor said about it combined with what we know about the term antihero, I can imagine it’s going to explore the darker sides of her as a person. I feel like in the other songs she’s written about her insecurities such as Mirrorball and The Archer, they haven’t really touched on self loathing and I feel like that’s gonna be more the tone of this song 🥴 like the content of The Archer and mirrorball mixed with the energy of mad woman and closure

MarkH

A vigilante can also be a villain; the posses that lynched black people in the US were described as vigilante groups sometimes.

Ileana Isabel

In my opinion, releasing this snippet for this song specifically doesn't relate to whether or not she prefilmed the MMWM. Because maybe she filmed one for every song previously, but she just decided to release this one now because of people wanting more than just the track name (cause it has been a while now, and if it's not gonna be a single release, then this little snippet of songs would satisfy the fans' eagerness to know more of the album), that being said, maybe she will continue releasing snippets for the next few songs, tho that seems like a lot cause we still have 7 songs to go, who knows 🙈

Ileana Isabel

Also, if it is actually random and we're looking too much into it, it's possible that she also prefilmed them all and is releasing them in order, so this way she knows when she would have to release this snippet video. Or maybe she films them earlier in the day, or idk she's too much of a genius

Sin-e-ad

I love you guys so much 😂😂

Cara M

I wonder if the upside down phone songs are the ones getting remixes?? Also, I think the tracks are not random. No way was 13 being first a fluke! And then Maroon being episode 5 (which she mentions in the video) giving her an opportunity to smirk at that asshole. (Taylor invented maroon, sorry Adam!) And the amount of balls in each episode are accurate to how many songs are left so she’s not just uploading in her own order. I think each episode has balls with all the same numbers written on them

Dany Rv

I just have so much fun watching you!! 😂 You should upload this one to YouTube it wouln’t have right issues. Love you guys!!

somaya

my theory about niceboy ed is: - either joe / joe’s brother (not likely though) or a close friend of taylor’s and joe’s is singing this song cause i feel like the voices are modified to sound different - am i imagining things or do i head taylor singing in the background? 🧐 - this song and its lyrics tie into “Midnights” and Taylor’s discography (like a lot of mentions of the word „gold/golden“, or „in my lonely nights“ and „my mind is swinging like it's on a vine" on the pre-chorus stood out to me because taylor made such a big deal out the midnights vinyls) i feel like the song itself maybe is a little taste of the album for us 🫶

Anna Miotello

I love a video of pure speculation! haha although we now have discord, it's lovely to watch you guys sum up all the theories at once. Have a safe and smooth flight to Paris and the best of fun during the meetup. 💕

Cecilia Sparke

So much to say when we have so little!!! We just need to know everything NOW!!! Re. the upside down phone, if her album is divided between nightmare sleepless nights and blissful/excited/energised sleepless nights, then the upside phone could be the sad songs? I think more likely it's the singles though. And there's no way she spoke about just the one song, she has definitely recorded her thoughts re. all songs on the album and I can't wait to hear that!! And can we have a moment to say how stunning and gorgeous she's looking in this video. Glam 70s suits her so well. Thank you for all the amazing content. Once Midnights is released I'll by dying for your reaction to it nearly as much as I'm dying for the album now xx

Amira

Now that you mentioned the September cover, I would love to see a ranking of all her covers, if that’s something you’re interested in doing

Meghan DesRochers

I am obsessseddddd with the idea that 'Question...' is about the 20 questions with her and Joe - like I must have that song.

chatsandreacts

OMG BEYONCE wow Mark but would would the ID mean????

chatsandreacts

Yes we totally agree and we talk about it in the next video! This is for sure the permanent back drop! 💛

chatsandreacts

I completely agree Angel, these tracks are so connected in my mind!

Aya

Also I don't know if you guys notice but she wore the RED ring in MMWM for the title track "maroon" which probably indicates that she already knew it would be track 2, so all the balls had the same number.

Jade

Hello, I just got into the membership ( i paid the tier that was 6$) and I thought I would have the right to the discord group but I’m not finding it… did I do something wrong? How does this work? Can someone help me?

Pix

you guys should do a short video explaining the Taylor Swift album family tree LMAO like I'm so interested in what you girls would sayyyyy

Danielle G

I feel like for vigilante shit it will go through the chorus or verse and end with "that's some vigilante shit"

Luke Price

she had phoebe on nothing new though

Cailee

will the livestream be recorded?

Maya

Yes but I'm pretty sure the balls all had different numbers on them if you look closely. And she also says "this is the fifth I'm announcing" and shows the ball all in one take. That would've had to have been edited.

MarkH

So tonight she picked up the phone with the OTHER hand....

Steven Hanley

Heh, so when ever Bonny is saying Vigilante Shit I keep hearing it as Visual Anti Shit, which is basically saying something is the complete opposite of Shit, visually. So many things come to mind, the looks being seen on Taylor in the new TS10 era for example. Visually not shit at all (yes Australian language use this is something that could come up in conversation)

Laurel Mae Art

I loveeee hearing your guys’ thoughts 🥺 I really get the vibe that ‘Vigilante Shit’ could be about cancel culture and how it affected her. Like the way in which society/the internet collectively bands together to ‘cancel’ people they deem no longer good and take it upon themselves be some sort of moral compass and reprimand people?!? Idk. Just an idea I had!!!

MarkH

Well, if you believe this theory it would mean "identification", as in the expression "Fake ID". So niceboy ed is identifying Beyonce as a collaborator on one of the remixes, say. I'm not saying I believe this, but let's consider some facts: 1. Taylor never forgets someone who was nice to her when she needed it, and Beyonce, of course, was, at that horrible Kanye moment. 2. Beyonce lives in New York City, at least some of the time, so it would be fairly easy for them to get together in person (though that would not be required). 3. Beyonce is surprisingly up to do unexpected things; who can forget her in Austin Powers? I'm not sure I believe this, but it is possible.

VenturesOfJanee

I'm confused. how is the upside-down phone mean a collab? someone, please explain.

Jenna Aguirre

Ok I fathomed a couple of things during this little chat: 1. What if target is calling those 2 bonus tracks remixes, but they are really acoustic versions? That would be superior, and I could see target doing that so as not to reveal that the originals are non-acoustic and the bonus tracks are. 2. You two mentioned that maybe Niceboy Ed is an anagram, so I fathomed the name combined with Life You Lead and got this but am now stuck lol: Nice Boy Ed = Beyoncé + i d Life You Lead = Adele + i f y o u l What could the leftovers spell?? 3. My absolute top collabs for this album vibe would be Lana, Thundercat, and HAIM!!!

Hannah Bessette

“You wear the same jewels that I gave you As you bury me” My Tears Ricochet connection to Midnights’ Bejeweled? It’s even in the bracelet name?? Help???

E. Zlatanova

Maybe the last song title she announce will be the single.... 👀

thesaltysorbet

Isn't one of the collabs with Drake?

Alice

OMFG THE NEWEST TIKTOK WE NEED A REACTION AND A DISCUSSION ASAP PLEASE I AM UNWELL

MarkH

No, those rumors are about a rep vault track, I think. But they are only rumors.

chatsandreacts

It’s just a guess as to what the upside down phone could mean! And we think maybe it’s a clue that the tracks where she holds the phone upside down could include a collab

chatsandreacts

Yesss this is a great theory!! And I know what you mean, I have a feeling they are pre recorded and she’s uploading them in the order she wants!

chatsandreacts

Thank you!!! 🥰 we much prefer it over the angle we filmed for Gracie! I think this is what we will go for in future

Tara Cabache

Not you calling the Lana collab 😭

Alexandra Bennett

I have a theory that the two songs she did the upside down phone with are going to be the two remixes we get!!

Nish

I think the remixes help with the total stream count of a song, helping it remain on the charts. That’s what Lil Nas X did with his Old town road song keeping it on 1st on billboard top 100 for many weeks. So it would make sense that she would release multiple remixes of Anti-Hero so people keep listening to it helping that song remain on the charts.
