Lovisa

I think I heard Sadie in the clip saying "This has just been the most fun. Thank you so much" to Taylor

kayla

Rewatching this and fathoming how Emily perfectly predicted the re-record releases for SNtv and 1989tv lol

Ashley McNown

Watching this after hearing The Manuscript gives me a whole new perspective on this, it’s comforting to know creating this helped heal Taylor 🥰

Quinta Oenema

i have been going through all your old videos i havent seen already, and i just cant stop thinking about how you are all about lyrics: i would absolutly LOVE if you would react to The Lumineers their album III : all the videos on youtube! its all videos intertwined with each other (its 10 parts of videos) its like willow after cardigan but 10 parts. the lyrics and storytelling and sounds are immaculate. If you see this comment please please please look it up and see for yourselfs.

Alice

HI GUYS! so glad you reacted to this!!

Ethan

A film, along with ATW??? Unfathomable…

Ethan

Also I need her to do something with the last great American dynasty/the watch hill mansion…

Joe Weaver

I was just about the watch the willow one. Double feature for me.

mieke

love the new hair cut, bonny ☺️🫶🏻 so excited to see your reaction! 💕

Josh G

LOVE THE NEW HAIRCUT BONNY AND THANK YOU FOR FEEDING US WITH CONTENT 😭 y’all are such queens 💕

Alice

Perhaps Taylor is planning an evermore birthday surprise of her own 😂

Alice

Not just the Grammys, hopefully the OSCARS too! How iconic would that be if ATW10 gets nominated/win best live action short? 😱

Alice

What do we think the short film is going to be about??

Philippa

Coincides with the major recent announcement today too!

Julia

LOVE seeing behind the scenes! Can't even fathom that we are getting a feature film!

Clash Fan

So glad you guys reacted to this. 💗

Derick Mitchell Matthews

Damn, I haven't finished the Willow video yet and you guys are just as prolific as Taylor right now..I love it!! This feature film which of course she wrote HERSELF is all I'm contemplating right now. So many theories thanks again!!

ArtsyPutsy .

This and her variety directors on directors video I think to boost her chance on Oscars and her news of directing a movie as well.

longstoryshort

“She’s a mastermind, what can I say?” 😅

MarkH

Yes, I think it is the Oscars she is really shooting for here. She wants to give it the best possible chance to get nominated and win. That's why she keeps talking to film people, like the Variety thing that is about to happen.

Floran

I think the movie is going to have a mysterious/magical/fairytale aspect to it but not in a kids film kind of way. Because Guillermo del Toro said that that’s what they were talking about. ALSO WHILE TYPING THIS WE NEED TO CONSIDER BEJWELED VIDEO MIGHT HAVE EASTER EGGS FOR THIS!!!!! 💀💀💀

Floran

Long Live the Feature Film coming to your screens when…?

MarkH

Thanks for this! As others have said, I think this is really about the Oscars more than the Grammys. She is trying to give the short film the best chance she can, as she moves into the film world. I do love the casual style of her direction as well; I think that's why she said she wants to work with good people, not the tortured actor type, on Fallon. She doesn't want to be the classic super controlling director who rules by fear. And I agree about Dylan and especially Sadie. I don't know how she got her smile to be so perfectly false in the cake scene--incredible!

M3L

Saw a post on tumblr that said something like...."Taylor's just out here like 'Sorry guys, I know I haven't updated my WIP, but here's this other thing!;" And I love that for her!

Soph🫧

I was wondering if you guys were going to react to Taylor’s directors on directors video?

CAM

So many things to fathom today! The BTS video nuggets for me: 1) she's "embarrassed" by the hand dropping, not hurt. Idk why I missed that in the video, but Taylor's direction for that scene makes so much sense! 2) the key throwing scene, where Taylor says something like throw with the full intention of it landing in her hand, and not the ground. Totally changes that scene for me. 3) the frightful things Taylor said at the end and coming of age, and how that you lose parts of yourself during that process, and thinking of the iconic line "I miss who I used to be/give me back my girlhood". Also yesterday was wild when this dropped, because the feature film was announced, and the media was excited. Then the Variety video announcement came, and people on Twitter were completely horrible to Taylor and it made my brain boil (buzzfeed captured some of those tweets and then called it backlash, instead of hate). Then the Variety video private link was posted accidentally! I watched the first 14 minutes of it, and then it was taken down. Guys! The iconic things that were said!? Her intro and asking the other director questions and really coming to the table knowing the assignment, asking the director strong questions, but also being her Mastermind self to showcase her own badass work at the same time, I simply could not! Please please please do a reaction to the Variety video!!!

VenturesOfJanee

Can you please react to Taylor Swifts Director to Director Interview, which comes out Dec 12.

Catalina Borreani

i’m sure everyone said this already but I think she’s aiming for an Oscar and that’s why she’s dropping this now!

k80scorner

If she doesn’t at least get nominated for the Oscar, I’ll be so upset 😭 Also side note, with all the Grammy talk, will you guys be posting a reaction to the Grammys for Patreon? I loved the low-key one from earlier this year 😊

M3L

OMG...I just had the best merch idea. Taylor is always ALWAYS thanking her fans and giving us so much credit for inspiring her to create. I know that when an artist wins a Grammy, a lot of people in addition to the artist get a Grammy as well (producers, etc.). But sometimes I think of all the people behind the scenes who make albums come together who are left out. Hopefully, they are compensated/thanked in other ways! However, in the MLB in the US when a team wins the World Series, EVERYONE gets a championship ring. From the lowest level janitors to the team owners. I have a friend who worked for the Nationals in 2019 in marketing and has one. I'm so jealous! I would LOVE to see an Era's championship ring just for all the records Taylor's broken, but especially if Midnights takes home a Grammy. Everyone involved in the launch of that album gets a ring, but she could also sell them to fans who supported it as well! So, I love my idea. Lets design a championship ring together! Lets make it obnoxiously big.

Brooke Penniman

what do you think about the idea of her releasing all of the re-records before her tour starts in the spring? does she need to in order to perform songs from them? I can't imagine getting them all in the next 6 months!

Jaimie C

so happy you reacted to this!! (would love your reaction to the filmmaking announcement) love that Taylor gives direction to actors and they're like 'ohhhh i get it now', Taylor gives feedback to editors and they're like 'ohhhh i get it now'. Genius!!

Emma Baumert

Coming of age reminds me of peace

Ally ❤️

The jumpers are from Amazon: Women's Argyle Pattern Oversized Knit Sweater Long Sleeve Crewneck Tops Pullovers https://a.co/d/1fx7x21

Joe Weaver

I'm fairly certain they will be.

Joe Weaver

I think that only applies when performing on television. Now she might need to do that for the songs to be allowed on something like a Netflix version of the Eras Tour. But I think she's ok to perform them on the tour itself without releasing the TV's first. It's complicated.

Dallas

I can’t fathom a movie being made by Taylor… hoping a book is next 😭

Bethany

as a speak now girlie, i'm standing by the idea that the rerecording deserves more than just being a blip before moving onto 1989 <3

Cara M

She’s not just coming for grammys with ATW10 but also Oscars!

CAM

Thank you thank you for getting this up so fast! It was such a lovely surprise to wake up to!

Brianna

The last bit at the end when Taylor was like "she's not who we met" I just started bawling. It just made me cry so much. I could never relive my narcissistic relationship like she had to do for this video. And then she turns around and makes it her most successful and award winning song/video. She's just so incredibly strong. I just love her lol

Alice

Did you guys know the lyrics to Paris is “stumble down pretend alleys, waste cheap wine make believe it’s champagne”? I thought it was “stumble down pretend alleyways, cheap wine make believe it’s champagne”

Emmy

Everything I've seen says it's the "alleyways..." version. Apple music and even when I Google the lyrics it says "stumble down pretend alleyways. Cheap wine, make believe it's champagne..."

Alice

Taylor’s Official YouTube lyric video says “stumble down pretend alleys, waste cheap wine make believe it’s champagne”.

Emmy

That is so crazy 🤯 I wonder if she knows it's being written differently on the other sites & on streaming... Also I feel like she sings it the way we both heard it (I also thought it was the other way)...

Alice

Ya I wonder if it’ll get corrected later, maybe not enough people have noticed and it’s not a huge difference. Now that I know that’s what she wrote I can hear it when I listen to the song.

MarkH

I actually think this is pretty simple; a public performance of a song counts as a re-recording. She is now legally able to re-record all her albums, so she is also legally able to perform them all. The reason it was a big deal at the 2019 AMAs is that she was not allowed to re-record a lot of her music yet at that time.

Alice

What’s the surprise?😃😃😃

chatsandreacts

its now close to the end of evermore's bday and unfortunately, nothing hahaha

chatsandreacts

That would truly be insane and amazing if she won an oscar!

chatsandreacts

We are gonna react to her directors on directors video!!! I hope its OFFENSIVE!!!! I just know she's gonna spill some tea or drop easter eggs

Ethan

I think anything from folklore/evermore would be amazing, like could you imagine cowboy like me as a love story film?? Or no body, no crime as a mystery comedy??? Like there’s so many outcomes 😭😭

chatsandreacts

I think you are right, Mark! It's all making more & more sense now, with all the chats she's done this year on directing the short film, this new video, and now the announcement of the feature film. I bet she'd be such a dream to work with as a director. Whoever ends up being cast is SO LUCKY!!!

Ethan

And are we going to get an original sound track with it???

chatsandreacts

We absolutely are going to! We will be filming it tomorrow x

chatsandreacts

AHHHH thanks for this comment! Wow it really is such an important distinction between "hurt" and "embarrassed" DAMN!! And the intention of throwing the keys to Sadie. Omg. I honestly don't think about these tiny details when watching the film, but they make all the difference in the overall feel of whats going on. SUPERIOR! This is why its sooo amazing to watch her direct, so you get these details!

chatsandreacts

Also, we are going to react to the Variety video! SOOO excited to see what she says!

chatsandreacts

If you guys would like that then yes, definitely!!!! There will be even more going on next year with all the Taylor nominations, yay!!

chatsandreacts

Hi Brooke! I think what Joe said is correct, she is able to perform any song she wants, but she cannot legally distribute footage or audio of it. So she can perform what she wants on Eras tour without having finished all the re-recordings of it beforehand. However, if she wants to do an Eras Tour doc (like Rep tour) she will need to have re-recorded all of the songs in said film by then, so that legally she can say she is singing Taylor's Versions and not the original songs. My opinion is that we will get the last 4 re-records whilst she is on tour (not necessarily beforehand), which could even span a couple of years possibly

chatsandreacts

Oh, you just KNOW that we will be getting a book one day. More than that. This woman is probably going to write a full book series, and a musical, and a TV show. EVERYTHING

chatsandreacts

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE it deserves more, but fear it will be given the Fearless TV treatment

Dallas

Stop I didn’t even think of a musical

Claire

Bonnie calling Dylan “Brian” in your closing thoughts has sent me

Maria Carmen

offensive, I can't even cope at the thought of a musical written by Taylor

Naomi Stern

Will you react to her directors on director’s interview?? Seems iconic and I haven’t seen anyone else discussing it yet
