elli

The way You all over me actually was #1 in my spotify wrapped that year hahaha 💀

Zoe

This song is such heaven. Like how dare it exist. NO AMOUNT OF FREEDOM GETS YOU CLEAN. 😭

raheel

Taylors songwriting will just never make sense to me, like how can she write karma is a cat but also no amount of freedom gets you clean??.!!! The RANGE!!!!!! Like I JUST CANT GET OVER HER GENIUS BRAIN. this song is just beautiful.

raheel

Also side note Em you looked extra gorgeus in this video!!! 😍💝

Hanna Kulla

love that you guys are finally doing the fearless vault tracks💛quick sidenote emily‘s hair looks offensive

Ana Noronha

This song is SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!! And Em's hair is offensive in this video

MarkH

I'm so glad Bonny is feeling better, and also to get the breakdown of this wonderful song. I feel like this song got overshadowed by Mr. Perfectly Fine, and I understand that because Mr. Perfectly Fine is amazing and poppier and biting. But this song is great in its own right. I feel like Aaron has a softer personality as a producer than Jack, so he can make himself fit the vibe really well (and this song definitely has a Fearless vibe). A few things I especially love in this song are the electric guitar (thank you, Aaron), Taylor's voice, which is perfect in this song, and the cry of the hawk just as Taylor sings "Leave em muddy underneath". People never seem to comment on that hawk noise, and I'm not sure why it is there, but it definitely adds to the atmosphere of an old country dirt road. And the lyrics are very mature--there is no hint of blaming the guy as far as I can tell. She's sad it didn't work out, but she does not mention any bad behavior on his part.

Marianne

I love seeing Ari's tail just going across the camera 😂😂

MarkH

A few other reactions to your comments: 1. "God knows" is also a connection back to the old country Christian Taylor, so it is perfect for a Fearless song. 2. The different verse lengths remind me of Sweet Nothing, for which we eagerly await your breakdown! 3. "I watched a part of myself die" hits very hard--nothing before that in the song has anything like that level of sadness. It is a very powerful line. 4. You (and I) did not mention Maren at all, but she does add something, maybe like Markus Mumford on Cowboy Like Me. It is hard to say much about it, but I do appreciate that she is there.

Brittany Halvorsen

I’m so glad you guys break down the songs individually now!! It is such a fathoming every time and helps elevate every song for me! 🤠💛

Zosia Dabrowski

This is my favourite Fearless vault song, it's just so mature and poignant

Alice

YESSSSS BEEN WAITING FOR THR VAULT TRACK BREAKDOWNS FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS!!!!😆

Lisa

Ahhh this was good. I am so excited for the Eras tour, I'm going on Friday!!! I think this was a really good track to pick for us this week coz I really think that the Eras show is going to knit together lots of songs for us, and that she will perform those songs that weave together in a medley style (giving us so much fathoming satisfaction) and I think they will be in between relating songs played in full from the concept album ... Midnights!! Then she'll pop out at the end and say 'have you guys got an extra 10 minutes'! And then we all know (too well) what will happen! Eeee, can't wait!

Jaimie C

you all over me is such pure perfection of a country song. Aaron absolutely slayed the production. her voice is heavenly and Maren's voice adds a depth & texture which enhances the feeling of the song. my fav vault track for sure!

Jaimie C

i love that you're doing individual videos for each vault track!

Jenny M

How do you two fathom these songs so well, it gives me chills thinking about it.

Jaimie C

YAOM has connections to Fearless for me. like Fearless was the beginning of the relationship and YAOM was the aftermath. Fearless lyrical connections: There's something 'bout the way The street looks when it's just rained There's a glow off the pavement, you walk me to the car But you're just so cool, run your hands through your hair Absentmindedly making me want you

Katie LaFave

I don't know if Bonny realized it or not, but she's wearing the same dress she wore when you guys broke down the RED vault tracks!!!

Alice

Super excited for Don’t You!💛💛

Jo Ayres

Anytime Ari pops in is always my favoriteeee. I love her and her big block head.

Courtney A

Yay!!! I've been waiting for these!!!

Ava Joyce

Emily your hair is so cute

Allie Ladner

This song is actually too much

Lea

oh my god you really just blew my mind

Chloé

I'm realizing in that moment that I've never fathomed this song although I love it so much !! Personally I find so many connections between this song and Last Kiss : - "once the last drop of rain has dried off the pavement" / "I do recall now the smell of the rain, fresh on the pavement" - "with your hands in your pockets" / "I love how you walk with hands in your pockets" - "every breath of air I breathe" / "I feel you forget me like I used to feel you breathe" - "June" / "July 9th"

Adam Moore

Always enjoy watching content from you two

Michelle Lela

I’m so glad I’m not the only one! I love this song ❤️

Alison

So I did preface this video with your original reaction video, and the one question I have is did you update the Taylor calendar to include April 29th?

Erika

So this song has been in my top 5 favorite TS songs of all time. The metaphors and the way it simply hits every emotion I’ve ever had at the end of something sad beautiful and tragic ♥️😉

Megan Closson

You All Over Me is my 3rd favorite TS song!!! Thank you!😃🥰

Celina Sharp

Loved this breakdown as with every brakedown you two do! I definitely will be having a moment with this song too 💛😊

Leilani Willcox

This is such a comforting space, your videos bring so much joy to my day. Thank you both so much! You All Over Me is a special song, and I loved hearing your thoughts and insights! I will definitely be having a moment with this song along with everyone else! <3 x

Rose Ellen

Em's hair has entered its Lover era and I'm living for it!!

anna

BONNYYYY can u plsss tell me where your shirt that you wore in the midnights reaction is from❤️❤️❤️ Thanks queen

Jennifer

Thank you both so much for this video! I’ve been in the “fathoming” stage of a breakup for the last few months and loved hearing your interpretations of this song!! <3

chatsandreacts

oh sending you my love and strength💛 thank god we have Taylor songs to help us through!!

Maya

All of the girls you loved before !!!! Aaaaaaaaaaah

Iga W.

We're not fine at all!

UnicornFlower

Are we ready for the 3 taylors versions and 1 brand new song ?

Alice

Omg 4 new songs at midnight??!? Emergency reaction needed!!!

Alice

It’s finally you guys’ chance to fathom EYES OPEN and SAFE&SOUND!!!! I was sad to hear those are near the bottom of your rankings, hopefully the Taylor’s versions will help move them up a bit. Also how amazing it is that she’s even re-recording the soundtrack songs featured in movies?!? This gives me great hope for CRAZIER 💚

Alice

Also isn’t it so wholesome that she got John and Joy back together from the civil wars to re-record this song after the duo parted ways for 9 years💛

Alice

Ok I’ve never heard the All of the Girls You Loved Before leak, and it is the cutest sweetest most wholesome song 🥹

Alice

Very interesting that If This was a Movie has the fearless cover art now. She’s moved it from the SN era to the Fearless era. I’ve heard people say it might be because she wants SN TV to be only self written songs. Vault tracks and all.

sofie sandrini

I think that Taylor and Joe dated from July - October in 2008 so the June lyric could possibly refer to them meeting

Courtney Santoro

Is there any way you could change the format of your Patreon videos back to one where you can watch in different speeds? I'm psycho like that lol. No worries if not!!

Katy Magner

Driving into phoenix for eras tonight and the traffic sign said “Cut off? Don’t get bad blood. Shake it off” 😂😂😂😂

Bethanie Harris

You All Over Me ALWAYS GETS ALL OVER ME! Whew! It hurts and heals so good!

Nick S

Thank you for this breakdown! I believe it is my favorite Fearless song 💛 I appreciate the fathoming-- superior metaphors and connections! I have always thought of 'Back to December' with this song. Especially "Turns out freedom ain't nothin' but missing you." And "Then I think about summer, all the beautiful times. I watched you laughing from the passenger side." (Perhaps as they a driving down old county roads) "The last time...is still burned in the back of your mind."

Natalie T

I love this song so much! It’s my favorite vault from Fearless. I agree with everything you both mention. But I’d like to add in how INCREDIBLE the backing vocals are!!! Such beautiful texture!

Christiana Somers

Would love to know your post-tour thoughts since it obviously swerved from your prediction — although in some ways I almost feel like I would’ve preferred your predictions, but hard to say since I wasn’t there and I have no idea if I’ll even be able to get tickets. I mean regardless seeing her live must’ve been magical.

Christiana Somers

To me the only slight hint at bad behavior is the fact that she says “the way the tires turn stones on old country roads they leave ‘em muddy underneath reminds me of you” implying that he sort of uses up people, leaves his mark on them, and then tosses them back on the road until it’s someone else’s turn. She also does have a slight jab, like the girls mentioned, when she calls him out on his “don’t ya wish ya had me” grin. I can definitely see where Bonny makes the connection to Mr. Perfectly Fine from that because I made a similar connection when she seems to be comparing him to the unchanging objects in the beginning of the song and compares herself to the inevitably changed things. She doesn’t feel like he was as affected by it as her. He’s over her, seemingly unchanged like the pavement, the wall (which makes me think of how people graffiti their names together) but she still has him all over her. I agree it’s hard to pinpoint which guy it relates to though despite those connections. But in some ways the ambiguity just adds to the beauty of it.

Lisa

Ha ha! My prediction was so so wrong! My mind was just dreaming up what I wanted IG! She was incredible, and of course she got it all right, it’s an amazing show! Love the love she gave to the newest family members! But at 1030ish I was looking at my watch worrying where Midnights was! Would have loved to see more Midnights. We also think we spotted Joe and Jack (from a distance)at the VIP booth and if it was them they were partying to Paramore! It was magical seeing her. She blew kisses in our direction and mouthed I love you so much 🫶

Abbie Kent

I am VERY fucked up by this fathoming. As fresh out of a long term relationship - I feel ALL of this. And feel sort of healed? Like knowing I can’t be fully healed ever makes me feel wayyyy better. So happy to be here always

sierra

thank you guys so much for really getting into that guitar & rewinding that for all of us. simply offensive musical break!!!!!!! aaron!!! 😭😭😭

sierra

my fav vault track 🥰💛

Jule

I've only fathomed in this moment how illegal the first verse is! The first few lyrics ending with "reminds me of him" and the next part then ending with "reminds me of me" is soo genius. As you guys said the pavement is a metaphor for him feeling perfectly fine after the "rain drop". And the dollar bill that's been traded in is a metaphor for the way she feels after the breakup. And yes, I do think there's a link to mr. perfectly fine, because as you said in your breakdown, girls in particular tend to assume that the guy actually is completely okay, but its just an assumption. I'm starting to feel a bit sorry for all the guys who have been accused of not feeling hurt after a breakup lol

Kirrily Lewis

Also love this song and that country sound mmm those instruments are delightful to listen to. And easy one again to sing along. Random side note: em I love that baggy shirt you’re wearing… any idea the brand? Xx

Julia

In my top 10 of Taylor’s songs 😍😍

Hila’s safe space

Last kiss which is about joe Jonas also has a lyrics. I love how you walk with your hands in your pocket. So I think this is really is about him.

Breezy Bumbles

Can you imagine if Taylor never left her hometown because everything worked out with the “one who could make (her) stay all (her) days???????”

Breezy Bumbles

Hey it’s funny because that’s exactly what I did! Wow! I could have been Taylor Swift if I didn’t get married at 19? That’s the only thing standing in my way. Oh and also I could never.
