I just wanted to share I went to the show thursday night on August 3rd (literally sobbed during maroon) and the songs that got played before over the intercom before she comes on stage are "You Don't Own Me" by Lesley Gore and "Applause" by lady gaga which has the lyric "I live for the applause" I just felt that was so interesting to have the lyrics "you dont own me" and " i live for the applause" before she performs, cuz this is the greatest tour of her life and she lives for the applause and for us and for her art, and she can't be owned in any relationship or changed

I was at this show tonight and I was SHOCKED but pleasantly surprised at Our Song. I was hoping for Debut and 1989 (was thinking Mary’s Song & I Know Places would’ve been my top choices of the remaining songs) but these were good choices too & I was happy with it 🙂

I honestly don’t think she’s going to do the mega special guests thing. Eras is about Taylor and Taylor alone not what cool celebrity she can bring out. Having Jack, Aaron, Phoebe, Haim and Marcus were cool but seeing Taylor perform I Don’t Wanna Live Forever and Evermore solo was amazing.

On the Selena/Taylor music collab, I'm not super surprised with them not doing an official collab, in Selenas documentary she talked about how she was feeling like she would never be enough on her own as an artist and she really wished she could be. I definitely see her telling Tay, and that probably caused them to wait. They are so super tight, and it would be ICONIC, just like their performance in the (1989?) Tour. And I hope they do one eventually!

I think if we get 1989 TV released around October (2 months after its announcement, like what she did with Speak Now), then I highly doubt she'd also release xmas tv a month later..?? The timing just seems too crunched up. I think if we don't get 1989 this year, then it's plausible that she'd release xmas tv instead.

As a Stan of both I’m manifesting so hard for Patrick to show up to sing Electric Touch one of the last few shows 🤞🏼I Don’t expect all of FOB as he’s the only one that actually worked on it with her🥰 Pete did respond to a fans sign at one of their shows that said play Electric Touch. I am in agreement that it seems like the songs being repeated may have to do with the filming happening at these shows, and maybe her selections of what she repeats - Maroon and Our Song - are songs that she felt worked really well in their first acoustic set go-around, so she wants them captured properly. Maybe the crowd was especially enthusiastic for those songs, she felt good about they sounded live, and she is trying to be a bit choosy about what ends up in the official filmed version of the tour…? Will be curious to see if the trend of repeated songs continues for all the LA shows. I am always happy to see your couch friends with you on reactions, it adds a whole other element to the discussion, and it’s so fun to see how much fun you all are having together.

Yeah so for the fathomings: we knew if she didn’t do exile a few weeks ago it wasn’t coming this leg, they are on tour this weekend. For all the repeats, it’s the same reason she’s had the exact same outfits: for continuity with the film crews being there for the documentary/movie/recording - maroon, our song, DBATC, YOYOK, those are all fan favorites, hence why she’s doing them again for the cameras so they can be included (:

This is THE 1". Cut to : during the night after Our Song, I saw my bracelet turn blue for 1989 - and then heard that first chord on the piano for You Are In Love. I will never forget that moment.
