I was so excited to see the show and I didn’t want to see any spoilers… so I went off of social media completely, had to hide my Patreon notifications from you guys, and avoided any news articles with Taylor that crossed my path. I had to tell all my family and friends not to spoil things for me as well which was hard, especially since the show I went to was LA night 5! It was SOOO worth it. I had NO CLUE what was happening during the show and I was in so much awe! I watch y’all’s videos while eating (lunch/dinner). Literally save y’all’s videos for the time when I sit down and rest. It’s also my best and most preferable way to end the day! 🫶 And I simply need to watch y’all’s faces for the superior facial expressions and reactions, I just can’t listen to it as a podcast hahah. And loosing mirrorball on N1 was trauma. Truly didn’t know what we were loosing. Having it on the set list would’ve been so good honestly, to be able to say that to the fans every night (especially before long live times).

"She doesn't help with the para-social relationship situation" I FELT THAT 😂😅 I try to stop idolizing the few "celebrities" that I hold up high in my mind bc at the end of the day I don't really know them, only know what I see. But as you guys beautifully said in other videos, it feels like each Swiftie has their own sacred relationship and bond with Taylor, through her music and what she shares and that makes it so difficult not to love her so much more than just as an artist!!! I think it's so beautiful how EACH INDIVIDUAL Swiftie feels connected to her and her music in a Unique way, and most of all how we feel SEEN by her and her words. She truly has a gift and it's quite overwhelming.

OMG I just got to the Tim McGraw section of the video and you guys watched the video that I uploaded to YouTube of her speech before the piano performance ahhhh idk why this makes me so happy!!!!!!!! lol I also uploaded a video of her FULL speech before starting mirrorball and there is a common misconception that the whole surprise song structure/pattern was unclear but she explained it on the very first night saying "this means if you see I have performed a song acoustically that means I probably won't play it again" Love you two and lovedddd this video. ahhh! having these re-fathoming videos is totally going to help fill the gap of not having any new shows for so long.. so thank you!! also! i was at that opening night show and often think about how unreal it was to experience that show blindly. it was complete sensory overload!! the closest you can get to the feeling of like.. the magic of christmas as a kid.. but it in your adult life. i also drove cross country for it and didn’t even get a hotel for after the show (cause anything reasonably priced was sold out) so i just ended up starting the drive back right after the show hhah. completely fueled by adrenaline. i mean we also didn’t know the show was going to go that late! i very vividly remember being in line for the bathroom when the girl behind me told me there was a photo being passed around online of a leaked schedule of the show & it said it went for 3+ hours?? we could nottttt believe it. the energy even in that moment when everyone found that out was insaneee.

Omg thank you for asking what we do during ur vids I think its HILARIOUS how I won't eat my breakfast until you guys have posted the secret song reaction (I'm from NYC so here it would always be around 9-10am). I just loved that time period of having a nice little cozy weekend eating my breakfast (which most often than not would be leftovers like I can eat pizza and burgers for breakfast its really not a problem for me) and watching your cute little faces light up at the secret songs! The past month I've also started making decaf green tea every time I watch haha, I loved drinking a big ol' cup of it. I stopped recently as I'm an on/off orthorexic and felt like the caffeine (even tho I drank decaf) was messing with me. I miss my green tea and thank you Bonny for saying "you deserve a cup of tea" in the beginning of the video cause I needed that encouragement LOL! Another note on the surprise song speeches: In addition to needing to save time, she clearly skips or shortens the speech when she doesn't want to talk about the meaning behind the song or why she's choosing to play it. This happened more and more frequently after the breakup. Obviously she won't want to get into a deep intro of Cold As You or Better Man, or False God, IDWLF, or Cornelia Street. The more sad/angry Joe-coded songs she played, the shorter the intros became.

With all the songs she's made lately mentioning her drinking, I've been listening to This is Me Trying, as a lot more autobiographical than I did when it first came out. I think it's more to Joe than the fans. It's been said many times they were off and on, and I'd almost bet this was a time they were off when she wrote it. Knowing now that she was really going through it at the start of the tour, her speech before this song really hits different. It's almost like she's telling us, I'm going through something, and maybe you are too. And that's where she makes it about the fans and this connection of going through something together. Which she probably desperately needed at the time. I just hear it so differently now than I did at the start of the tour. She sounds so sad. I want to hug her.

I went to the 1st show and I remember thinking, after watching the Lover album songs, about all the eras setlist prediction videos I had seen. I thought how was it going to work if she was only going to do 20-22 songs. I had no idea it was going to be over 3 hours and she would do 44. That was the best surprise. I also did think Tim McGraw was the debut era song that would be played at every show and that there was one surprise song.

On this is me trying: I completely agree I’ve always felt the line about caring if she came back, has been about the rep era. However, I’ve always thought the bridge was about loosing her masters. Saw the re-fathoming for my home show and had to watch because honestly it was such a fever dream going through all the new experiences with no spoilers that surprise songs wasn't the only thing to fathom! RE: Starting at Glendale, I also felt so surprised because its like...she must kind of like us because she started REP here too?? But we're just some place in the southwest that has no other connection to her? Like thank you, putting up with the desert is worth it for this I guess so she can be here before the weather turns hellish on her summer tour schedule.
