My theory on timing of break-up. I feel it must have happened just before the tour. Otherwise Joe would have been at least one show no? I think Taylor's team intentionally let out the announcement the weekend they did because she didn't have a show that weekend so she didn't have to perform during that initial chaos and they could leak the movie shoot images the same time as a distraction. I don't think any of that was a coincidence - just Taylor and her team trying to drop the news that was destined to come out at the time they preferred. I went to night two of Glendale and as someone who has seen Taylor many times before I thought she seemed off, just a bit lifeless in the face through the show (could have been first weekend nerves though).

when taylor did clean the first time, a girl on tiktok was like crying and freaking out about it (duh obviously) & taylor commented on the tiktok saying she played it in a lower key than she wanted to, so she counted that as a mess up and that she'll do it again. the girl even replied to that comment with all the show dates she was going to and then taylor played clean again when the girl from tiktok was there.

in terms of the re-recording convo, keep in mind that she couldn't start re-recording rep until like november 11th, 2022. there is NO WAY that she re-recorded rep in the span of a month cuz obviously her bday is december 13th (aka when she posted that pic) so i think she's been re-recording a lot of rep throughout this year

Right after this weekend she had a 2 week break for Easter I think and that’s when the break up news broke and we saw her in Liverpool shooting some of the I Can See You music video! Then yellow dress/orange 1989 outfit starts next week for Weekend 4 in Tampa on the first night which was the 13th and we were all clowning for the Speak Now announcement and she sung Speak Now as a surprise song. 💛🧡

She repeated Clean because a girl on tik tok posted a video of her reacting to Taylor playing clean in texas by saying "mess up mess up" because she wanted Taylor to play it again. After the show, taylor saw the video and commented on the girl's tik tok saying "well I couldve done it in a higher key so it is technically a mess up" and then taylor did in fact play clean at that girl's show and introduced it by saying "i could've done this one a higher key"

Emily I just want to stay thank you so so much for your rant towards the end of this video cause it really resonated with me... i am honestly currently dealing with the fact that 2 friends i have/had that i considered super close to me have basically completely ignored me the past 3 months and when i reached out more than once they were dry and just said 'things are busy'. My guess is the breakup happened before the tour started, and at this point is when she was starting things up with Matty which is why she seems so ok. Only then did she give the ok for the news of the breakup to be released, because if she was starting something with someone else, that made it clear that this time her and Joe were definitely not getting back together. It would make sense to hold off on announcing the breakup during the two week tour break she had here in April to let the shock/chaos simmer before her next show where all eyes would on her hyper-fixating on any clues that she might be struggling with the heartbreak.
