I really like this vlog! The opening music really tickled my brain well. Plus the colors are coloring so well. Thank you! Sending lots of love to Sophie and Pepper 💝

Also I loved the vlog!! So chilled and laid back, as well as such a healthy mindset with ‘past collaborators’ because they did help you to get where you are now!!!

Love this vlog, super cosy :) plus the rainbow reflecting on your hair in the first chatty segment is giving ethereal queerness vibes <3 x

Love your daily vlogs! Are the 28mm and 35mm lens for your camera a Sony brand as well? I'm looking to buy my first 'professional' camera and was wondering what other lens apart from the kit lens I'm going to need. Would appreciate any advice as I love your videos Cheyenne :). Also, if you wouldn't mind- would you share what kind of tripod do you use? Do you have an over head tripod as well? (the one which can allow camera to video you from the above when you draw). Thank you!

they actually are both from sony!! and frankly, quite affordable, as far as lenses go. I get all my camera equipment from adorama.com, and they also have a lot of great options for buying used products, which are usually a good deal cheaper, and often in basically like-new condition. Their staff is also super helpful in offering advice!! I would say start with the 28mm, or even a 24mm, as it'll get you the ~artsy cinematic look~ without being too limited in your field of view, as you'll start to see once you get past 30mm. Though, on that note, I really learned about the concept of "full frame" lenses, which essentially just leave your field of vision more open, even with tighter prime lenses, like a 35 or 40mm. My main tripod is a Manfrotto, which I love, and then for my overhead shots, I use something called a "tripod arm", which is a straight rod that basically runs perpendicular to my tripod, and that allows me to stick my camera out over my desk and stuff. Think of it like a mic boom arm, but for your tripod, if that makes sense. Also, I ADORE my a6400, but I would recommend getting a camera that includes some kind of in-body image stabilization (for Sony cameras, this is called OSS, or Optic SteadyShot) as it'll smooth out the roughness of your footage so you don't need to worry about shaking hands or the camera catching every single jostle if you film while walking, for example. There are Sony lenses that have OSS built in, so even if your main camera body doesn't have it (which the a6400 does not), there are still solutions. This video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnreMfXsUYw) is an excellent place to look if you want to compare the sort of ~vlogger friendly~ or beginner end cameras. I hope that gives you some place to start!!!

oh my thank you soo much this is so helpful I did not expect such a detailed response I appreciate it so much!!! You are very kind ❤️ Super excited haha, you always inspire me to make art and just to be myself 🌝 I have been watching your yt videos for years now and have to admit that you were one of the first small business artists who inspired me to open online shop and sell products and stuff hehe. Also I’m on the waiting list to get diagnosed with adhd too, I super relate to everything you always going through ❤️ Not sure what time is in the US now (I live in London UK) but hope you have a nice evening/day! 🫶🏻

oh and I also sometimes feel like ‚my best work is behind me’ too but I also think it’s just my brain trying to mess with me; we all evolve and our art evolves with us and sometimes it looks different than before but it’s always going forward enhanced by all the experiences we’ve been through and all the new things we’ve learnt, I think 🙂 And I love this new redraw of your older work, it’s very vibrant!

My kitty Olive is going through the same thing. All the love I know getting their levels situated can be hard and scary! Sending good vibes to her and you! 💖
