hi friends!!! i'm finally gonna get around to filming the $2k goal — a short video series on running my business! i'm curious to know what parts of self-employment y'all are interested in/curious about — please write below stuff you want to know more about, or have some insight into, and it'll help me loads in planning these videos. 

do you want to know about my products? suppliers? market research? what i've learned, how i started, etc? lemme know what you're curious about and i'll do my best to cover all my bases x

I follow a lot of smaller creators and one thing I’ve always wondered that no one has ever talked about is how they work out shipping. Figuring out shipping prices/sourcing packing materials ect

I'd love to hear about how you think about environmental sustainability! I know it can sometimes drive up costs, and there isn't much small businesses can do about the effects of shipping, but I've also ordered from you and all the packaging is recyclable!❤♻️❤ How do you find manufacturers and providers, and do you vet them at all, or take recommendations from friends? (No pressure if then answer is "I dont think abt it very much and generally do my best", bc that's so valid, I'm just curious what you're thoughts are, if you've got em!)

YES!!!! I want to know all those things 😂😸 Do you make a significant amount from YouTube or is it mostly from your products/illustration? I’d love to know how to do taxes as a business owner- I want to go from a full time day job to part time so I can focus on my art/video work, but I’m nervous about money (of course). ANY tips would be AMAZING! Thanks for sharing. Also, you are a fantastic human and your illustrations make me feel like a warm carrot muffin. 🥕

This. Do you have a spreadsheet? I love spreadsheets. I often wonder if creative types factor in their own wage and how they figure out the cost of a product, including packaging and freebies, etc.

I would LOVE to know how you balance your days. Where did you begin. How to you keep everything in sync. I'd love to know how you navigated taking care and learning about all the less glamorous things like taxes and legal stuff. Did you have someone to help? Do you have advice on how to find resources? What did you do before you started your business and why did you decide to become self employed ? What's the most enjoyable about having your own business and what's the least enjoyable ? How do you stay productive, especially on days when you really feel like you don't want to work (as someone who works at an office, you can't really have those days because you report to your boss who needs you to work !)
