omg what a treat this was to watch! Hope you are well. Sometimes when I get eco anxiety, I like to think about / research all of the advancements we're making in technology. Search up "floating farms by Javier Ponce" it's super cool and reassuring!

Chey!! This video is great (the music editing when you unpacked the stickers was *chefs kiss*) 🧡 It never ceases to amaze me how many parallels there are between our life experiences. I have been going through such a similar process of overwhelm at the state of things recently (I live in the UK and it feels as though our whole system has been at the precipice of collapse for a long time). A friend of mine leant me that same Thich Nhat Hanh book which I’m looking forward to reading! Your videos and art always make me feel so represented, seen and accepted and your vulnerability in talking about your mental health journey has helped me so much! I’m so excited for the tangerine rewards to arrive! Thank you for continuing to put your work and incredible energy out into the world 🧡💚💜

A new video! I'm 😭😭😭 It sucks that you've been feeling that anxiety. Hopefully it will abate soon as you explore this new side of yourself that you're leaning into. It can be so hard to explore one's purpose and all that entails, but I know you'll figure it out. That is also unfortunate about your Patreon being on a downswing :( let us know if we can help! I'm sure it'll go back up soon, I think finances are just hard for some people right now. It's good to see your face, and I'm glad you're well! Let Javi know we're rooting for them and their health! COVID is hard :( Anyway, you're amazing and this was such a joy to watch. All the love 💕

I'm so happy to see you making vids again! I'm so proud of everything you've done to take care of and expand yourself with streaming and creating limitations where you needed to. Your revelation is a significant one, and one that I need to put into action as well. Though I think you've been working towards that principle for a long time even if it didn't connect fully for you until recently. You're a wonderful creator and a good person. You've helped me feel seen in your journey and happy with your art; as you have for many. That is certainly a continuation of the community outreach you are so passionate about. So keep doing what you're doing! You're going to be amazing!

i think it's the nature of things!! the price of Everything is on the rise, so i have no doubts that's playing into things. as long as people are taking care of themselves, that's what's most important!! javi is now negative (thank goodness!!) but i'm letting em rest for another week or so before i get them back to work so they can heal up properly <33

Hi Chey! Just joined your mail tier and I'm super excited about it woooop! :D Thanks for a wonderful vlog, watched it with my morning coffee <3 your art makes me happy!! And your crochet makes me want to go grab a yarn ball from my yarn stash and get back to it. I've done many many crochet amigurumis but actually never tried a granny square!! Next on my list! Happy belated birthday : D Thanks for sharing such a genuine, honest, beautiful revelation moment with us : ) x

loved seeing your new vlog! i wanted to ask, is there any resources (or key tips/advice) that you've found particularly helpful when it comes to mindfulness? i'm struggling some similar thought patterns to yourself and have been ~trying~ to be more present. i don't know where to start/look when it comes to learning more! i hope you're keeping well and that the realisation you've had is continuing to make you feel better about things :) hope you had a fab birthday, too!! x

New patron from watching this vlog on YouTube. I’ve been struggling with the same issues you mentioned but mine is more focused on access to healthcare; I’m a nurse and seeing so much behind the scenes has made that choice in career really affect me negatively in how I see the world (even though i do love the work). I haven’t yet found my way out of if or some way to cope with it daily other than therapy and constant work, which then makes me even more aware of how unfair and broken out healthcare system is because I only have access to that because of my privileges. Ans even then, all that work doesn’t really get me through that frame of mind, it just kind of allows me to deal with life and that feeling at the same time. Anyways. You get it. It’s hard. This was great to watch. I have to ask if you made that cardigan at the beginning (I’m a crocheter myself so I’d love to know where you got the pattern of you did make it). Thanks and much love ♥️
