hello my dears!! here is our second april pod! soz it’s coming in a bit last minute -- i spend most of the episode talking about dungeons and dragons  cause i’ve been watching dimension 20 and it’s the only thing on my mind hehe

i’m gonna try that!! it’s just this pattern specifies attaching the ribbing with a mattress stitch, maybe for a more finished edge?? i’m gonna try crocheting it directly on though and see how it goes

Omg I had a very similar experience with an old D&D campaign group where everyone’s playing styles were so different and I just wanted to live in the story and be a happy chaotic bard haha! It totally put me off the whole thing, but this podcast is making me want to give it another go! 😂👀

Adding to my other comment, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone’s already recommended it but highly recommend exu: calamity - it’s on critical roles YouTube but Brennan runs the game and it’s my absolute favourite shorter style campaign that I’ve ever watched (though warning, you’ll most likely cry)

comparison is such a challenging knawing biatch of a habit to kick, celebrating the wins of my kin is something that I've been working on as wheeeeel! i think what helps me most is remembering that no one can do what I do how I do it, you know? we're all so unique and we all have our own special lil shine <3 so not to let others shine dim my own! cause eff that! sending big love to you chey!
