Status report on 0.4.3.5 (Patreon)

Good morning everyone!It's been a busy week for me. I've started with reworks on the scene with Kate in the MC's room at the inn. Implemented them and made more images for transitions that lead to that scene. The next step was to focus on the actual pregnancy topic. I've thought about a mechanic that would make it easy for me to implement something similar for other women in the future as well as progressing through the stages for Kate.In more detail: I'm saving information about each woman. If she is at a point where she agrees to have a child with the MC (which will be determined by dialogue choices) she will change to a state where she could get pregnant.in that state there will be 1 week each month where she has her "save days" and nothing can happen. on the other days there is a chance that she gets pregnant which is increased by the players lust value at the moment of having sex.In case of Kate she could have sex with a lot of other men. If she agrees to have a child she could also get pregnant by those. The information about who the father is will be stored, but currently I plan to keep it a secret on who the father is in that case. (Maybe in the future I will add some indirect ways where you can find out who the father is if you're unsure)After the impregnation Kate will inform the MC about her pregnancy and after that it will take another week before signs will show. (The player will get a notification for that). Then it will take a month until Kate gives birth (another notification). If the player doesn't show up until 1 week after Kate gave birth she will give the child away. Otherwise the player can decide what to do about it.I've worked on new animations for Kate in her pregnant state and also dialogue that lead to the decision of her getting pregnant + reaction & dialogue for the new scenes.But there is still a lot to do. My plan was to release the first part today at least up to the point where you could see her with big belly and then have sex with her. The giving birth part would then be part of the 0.4.4.0 release. However as it is right now there are still some things not working out correctly and there is also dialogue unfinished. I will do what I can to fix and finish that today but it is more likely that it will take monday on top to get everything done.So I hope you will understand and give me the time to polish everything up!I will keep you updated here and on discord.For those of you who already finished their work today,I hope you're having a relaxed weekend!

A couple quick questions If the MC isn't the father of the baby will he get a choice of what happens to the baby? If you're hiding who the father is, then is the MC going to act like he's the father for all the kids? Have you made a decision on what will happen to the kids after the MC makes a decision?

that systems to hard man, don't make us track mensal cycles. just keep it the simple contraceptives' off or on and then the percentages of impregnation based off of who fucked who withought birth control. thou even in that case give a middle ground where only ntr pregnancy's are off (and can be turned back on later), and the excuse for that is just simple magic. literally gwen and if not qwen, sabrina because ether if not both of them would be using that spell already i can already see that the system will end up as a problem and one giant headake so i will say this straight, step it back a bit you sill need to make a system that is in-depth but fun, fair and repeatable with a system in place where a curtain amount of kids will have an impact on the story, that's already hard enough. the pregnancy system is for a power fantasy game with swinging and group sex in it. got to have that right amount of player freedom and risk, what you have their is just risk if off the meds because you made it to realistic.

Yes he will decide what happens even if it isn't his child which he can not know at this point. If Kate doesn't keep the child it will be given to the church so that father Francis will have to find a new family for him/her

Mhmm... yea maybe you are right and my idea of making it more realistic would cause only frustration. I will remove the part with the cycle for now and only make it dependent on the choices of using contraception. And I will add an option where she uses contraceptives when with other men.

I have been waiting for this update for like.. the last two years, so I can wait a few days more :) Better you dont stress and that you are happy with the result

sorry for being harsh but that idea was just full of red flags to not say anything. Also you got to remember your making a game with a magic cock and a goddess of lust and corruption down the street. Normal pregnancies and contraceptives would actually be more out of place. Qwen and Sabrina definitely knows some good anti preg magic (hell they probably know a spell to quicken the duration of it) while kathrin and lucous can get and/or teach you a good contraceptive store baught and self made. Their are other ways to make the pregnancy stage interesting without the loss of freedom and ether way the simpler the better because your main goal is the child, so the contreseption and birth is just part 1 and 2 of 5

Good luck with this specific part of your game/project! I hope it works out how you envision it! I wasn't a big fan pre-emptively and still do not care too much about the pregnancy aspect but it was decided in the past so that's that. If you can make it easier on yourself in terms of systems/implementations then I would say go for it, the end result for the main fetish players is just to have a pregnant lady to have sex with, I am guessing? I'll keep an eye out for the next big update after this which will be more story related once more. I can't wait for world expansions in terms of villages, cities, town and new races and story lines. Actually am eager to see the Gwen/Sabrina story develop since the corruption/transfiguration that Gwen put on us is what started our entire adventure really, besides the MC's guardian being murdered which is getting involved nicely with the cult and any future Kirlic travels.

You probably guessed it already, I won't be able to finish the update today. There is still some time until midnight (Which I will make use of) but from the amount that is still on my todo list to the point that I consider "a good breakpoint" there is a lot more before I can call the update finished. While writing I often find that I'm missing transition images which I'm currently also working on. So I think on Monday the update should be polished enough to be released.
