Kate's new duties (Patreon)

Another week is about to end so time for my weekly report.This week I've been working on the childbirth part for Kate. This included new sprites and dialogue images. I've also updated Claire's model a bit and reworked her current dialogue images. Since the upper floor in Emily's house doesn't have any interior yet Roderic will help the MC to build some beds for the toddlers.It got again a bit more complicated because I had to think about how to new babys are generated. As I've already written in my last report their gender and father (thereby skin color) is already saved the moment the woman gets pregnant. But transfering that into actual little sprites that run around depending on what happened before required a bit of thinking.I've also worked on another pregnant animation for Kate and one for her and Thomas. What's now left to do is to make more dialogue alterations (when a second/third... child is on the way) And also Claire's dialogue need a bit more adjustment.My plan is to release update 0.4.4.0 on the coming Wednesday. That should give me enough time to finish the planned content and maybe add some other smaller features aswell. That's all for now, I wish you everyone a nice weekend!

That is a lot of work! I really hope the patrons that wanted the pregnancy feature appreciate all the effort and work that has to go into making this happen. Even though I would have preferred to move one of the many stories along, I have to give you kudos on the quality of work you put in for Kate's pregnancy. Also, good work on Penny's bonus scene. I was wondering at some point she wouldn't want to sleep alone knowing the MC is in the house. Take care and remember to take breaks, my friend!

Wow nice work. But I think going for too many babies might be overkill for you and It'd be better and also realistic to give it a limit like max 3. After that in case you want that, the women could still get pregnant with all the pregnancy events but at the end (birth day) you could include a out of canon text like "mc has already max amount of kids with this character" or something like that.

I think his max was going to be two with some special ones based off the father. Example Thomas and Rick who would take one for themselves. After that it was going to be a mix of what is available meaning sent to the church, and/or orphanage while rumah and the orcs will keep their children. I do not know if it’s still going to go down that way but I do know that was the direction he was initially heading to

Yes, that will be possible. Although for those who still want the content at the inn I will make an alternative version where they still work there to see scenes related to the inn.

The lighting seems a bit weird, the baby seems to be lit entirely differently from Kate. She looks like a lot of light on her, while the baby seems to be in darker room. It's a bit of a mismatch, wherever the light is supposed to be coming from.
