Good afternoon,in this report I'd like to talk about the past week and also give an insight into my thought process regarding the next update.First of the bad news: The 0.5.0.5 won't be coming today. For some of you this might not be much of a surprise I myself wasn't sure if it was possible. Over the past week I've then come to the conclusion that even if I would push hard to get something out it would only be a short introduction of the Queen & Princess and not really worth to be called a test version or anything in that regard.But lets start at the beginning of the week. On Monday I decided to add another 2 animations to the bonus scene (it didn't feel complete without an option to let Kate & Arianna have some fun together and I only had the BJ animation for Arianna and wanted to add one fore Kate as well)After the update was then done on Tuesday afternoon I continued my work on the models for the Queen and Princess.For those interested to see a small preview you can find it here (didn't want to put it into the title in case someone doesn't want a spoiler)Speaking of the title image. After I finished making the models and made sprites/dialogue images for them I had to think about where exactly the Queen would stay during her visit in Arenfield.My original plan was to let them move into the still empty room inside the Baron's mansion. However the more I thought about it this wasn't fitting for royalty. After all a Queen has servants and guards so it would have been unfit to let her stay in a small room. My next idea was to make an area outside the village where she would stay in a large tent (adding a small camp for her)...But the more I thought about it, I came to the conclusion that it didn't fit either (after all I want her to interact with the people of Arenfield and having her travel every day just was a bit too tedious). The solution I came up with is to add a guest house to the Baron's mansion.So what you see in the picture is the new backyard garden of the Baron's mansion. There will be a path to it from inside the house and directly from the village map (which I have also altered a bit). Today I've now been working on the map for the guest house itself and I hope I can finish it later today.This brings me to the coming week: with all preparations now made I want to go full into writing and positioning for the new characters to get the story going. Now that I can assess it a bit better I plan to release the 0.5.0.5 update next Friday with as much content as I can get done by then. After that I'll be back to Julia's bonus scene and then there will then be ~2 1/2 weeks to finish the 0.5.1.0 update.So much for the planning. I hope this timeline is a bit more realistic and can actually be done. That's all for now,I wish you all a nice weekend!

The quality of the image in your title is really nice! Slowly brushing up the game graphics/sprites is a nice touch. Take your time and have a nice weekend!

Great models. Kinda wish the queen had bigger breasts, but that's just a personal preference and not a complaint. I'm definitely looking forward to what you have planned for the royal family.

nice as alwase i did notice something and this is more of a question then anything. that house is a neighbor to gavina now right? their across the river that is true but based on how far away they are and the fact that the queen has better security then the absolute piss poor one gyren has someones going to see the smoke or clearing. so unless gavinas farther away then i think she is someones going to find her

story wise this would be a great way to get gavina properly introduced into the town outside of her main questline as theirs no way in hell the queens guard isn't going to patrol the estate. she's a high value target after all, so someone's stumbling upon the clearing. that is if they do not see the smoke stake at night. this is bad for gavina not just because shes a dwarfe but because both her and her daughter are thief's (unknown thief's) plus i dont think their paying taxes as their hermits so questions are going to be had and not all of them good. what you will do with this is really dependent on what you want to do with them, but they cant be in hiding anymore if people know where they live

and thats why i said the gaurds. a normal person, most likly no. a guard checking out the area to make sure theirs no threats yes

It would depend on how strong of a following the royal family brings along. Arenfield itself is extremely weak, as we know we are basically the only protection the town has after most of the events have played out. If we remove our own mercenaries they literally have just Lyvia and possibly Frank (if you save him). Let's count Henry and the one other guard that the baron has in his house. So they definitely will never be patrolling anywhere to find Gavina's house. Queen's guards maybe - and who knows, it could be a funny side story / bonus scene if one of the Queen's guards is actually female and she is the one who finds them and you have to convince her to not reveal it... maybe including Gavina and/or Bianca in it. But in terms of work load, that would take away a month+ of time from actual story progression so I'd vote against it. It's an interesting idea that their house might be discovered I guess, but I don't see the added value anywhere for it. If anything, I see a more likely route where the MC simply introduces them to Arenfield once war actually makes it to Arenfield, since then they would join in with preparing Arenfield for war/ defending Arenfield. Don't really know what direction Chyos will take that, one of the paths probably involves overthrowing the baron and ruling yourself.

correct and i agree with everything you said, plus like i have said its just a better possibility that the house will be found as now. After all theirs not just 6 (you missed the drunk and bridge) gaurds in town whos jobs aren't even to patrol (not even lyvia or frank they were town security till the bandits forced a change in their job requirements). with the queen coming though she will probably be coming with a whole squade if not platoon to gaurd. thats literly an equal amount or more guards then we have in town and unlike the ones we have some of their jobs will be patrol. if anything this is just a way to get gavina into town naturaly as her story if everything gos to plain will have her completly faide into the shadows. we want a natural connection she or her daughters going to need to fuck up or someones going to need to find her house

I think it is indeed farther away than you think. Takes an hour through the path Bianca shows you, whereas the cottage is directly behind the baron's house.

True but it still is on the river and that is something they would walk up on patrol as it’s a direct access point. Plus they will be keeping an eye out for smoke do to orcs and bandits in the area so if their able to see it they might go and check it out even with the distance Question of course still is how far is their patrol going to take as an hour walk is far and based on how far the patrol gos can they even see the smoke or loc to begin with

It's an hour down that hidden path through the woods. It's gptta be a least a couple miles away.
